Today is walk on stilts day, something we all know takes time and effort to learn to do. Just like going to the gym we wouldn't expect results after one training session. So, why do so many people I speak to still lack a level of patience when it comes to their social media. Welcome to another howto9xyoursocialmedia video. So, we're onto the next step of the process explained in my former number one book, how to make short videos. You've created your long form content, hopefully as a live video to create more impact, so what now. Well you can use software such as clipconvertor.cc or fbdown.net to now download that video content from facebook or any other platform. Once you've downloaded it, it's as simple as using your intro and those bullet point moments from your blog to create short form video. Just because it’s usually a couple of days off work, it doesn’t mean your audience isn’t consuming content across the weekend, so, should you really just stop putting stuff out because it’s Saturday or Sunday? Sometimes we have to embrace the chaos in our lives. On today #pandemoniumday we should look to do that more than ever. Sometimes social media just feels like chaos, the reason for this is you’re not organised in your content creation. Planning your marketing is as essential each year as setting goals. That’s the whole point of planning. You don’t see any successful brands muddying the waters with their content, they speak about the same thing, the same campaigns across the board. What’s in print is on tv and on the radio….i.e. IKEA right now speaking about bedrooms, this will change with their next campaign change. So, if it works for the big boys, why wouldn’t it work for your smaller brand/business……exactly, it would work.
