This week KayTheRebel discusses how she has often felt unprotected or unsafe in her relationships. She takes a trip down memory lane and how she felt when she read words from Lauren London, stating that Nipsey was her "sanctuary". She also shared a rare perspective on those who are in their 30s or 40s and who do not have children. Could it be that the universe or higher powers are saving you from procreating with the wrong one? Lastly, she spoke briefly on how there are people we will cross paths with someone who may be the right person, but the timing won't be in your favor.

This week KayTheRebel continues to carry out her black owned business segment and highlights one of Boston's fitness trainers, "Muffin", the owner of Motivated by Muffin. She spoke in depth about what fitness means to her and how it will always play a role in her life. KayTheRebel gave her the opportunity to reflect on her growth; how she once trained multiple Boston natives for free and now presently crushing her goals and making Motivated by Muffin an entire brand which includes: individual & group training, fitness boot camps and merchandise. The episode ended with Muffin giving the listeners words of encouragement on how they can make health & wellness a priority. How we can all find ways to accomplish our own personal fitness goals and maintain a healthy lifestyle.

This week KayTheRebel came to the defense of women who are viewed as being "overly independent". She discussed her upbringing and how life lessons also have taught her to be independent. While taking a look at her life, she came to the conclusion that maybe being overly independent is a trauma response. How can you unlearn something that you've been taught your whole life? Fears of being let down have lead to her anxiety about asking for help and/or allowing herself to need someone; especially a man.

This week KayTheRebel had a little to say about a bunch of things. For starters she discussed her experience with visiting Chicago for the first time. Next, she talked about not being a fan of Mother's Day, Porsha from RHOA being engaged to the African man, women standing their ground in relationships, losing yourself, a new term she learned called "breadcrumming". The episode ended with her struggling with the idea that she may have to agree that it may b e impossible for two attractive people to just be friends for long period of time and nothing more.

This week KayTheRebel digs a little deeper internally and discussed how she comes to terms with the fact that she does have a type which are men who are "hood". She discusses Kevin Samuels and his theory on black women not wanting or attracting high value men and admitted to her struggles with that. Then she went further and linked her childhood/upbringing and how it relates to the type of men she chooses. Accountability & self-reflection were displayed throughout the entire episode.

This week KayTheRebel discusses her level of dedication when it comes to her hair. In a perfect world, she would have perfect hair everyday. She talked about the lengths she goes style her hair and aim for perfection. A friend suggested that she try to use that same approach when it comes to battling with anxiety. She discussed the things in life that create the most anxiety and then ended the episode giving tips on how we all can manage our anxiety.

This week KayTheRebel purged about what has been on her mind this week. She encouraged listeners to get better about sharing words of affirmation within friendships. "Suffering in silence" during relationships, self-awareness, The Game's controversial tweet about taking care of his woman, people who are loud & wrong and the most important take away from this episode was teaching her daughter to NOT date down!!!

On this week's episode, KayTheRebel lists everything that she is sick & tired of. There were challenges in which she feels are preventing her from being the best version of herself. Doing the work has been exhausting!! She revisited the discussion of her struggles with anger and aggression. The episode ended letting the listeners know that you're only human and that one day you can be on the edge and there could be something or someone who will push. Forgive yourself and move on........

On this week's episode, KayTheRebel discusses her issues surrounding individuals who like to tell another person how to feel. She also briefly touched on how in today's society it is a crime to be "in your feelings" and that growth and wisdom has taught her that it is okay to tap into your emotions. Your feelings are real and you are the only one who has rights to them!!!!

This week KayTheRebel continues her segment to highlight and promote black owned businesses. She chopped it up with Newark native El-Amin Jumuah, the CEO of Passionate Rebel LLC. While discussing being a black business owner, El-Amin shared with KayTheRebel how he bridges the gap between fashion and one's motivation/hustle. Throughout the interview he encouraged listeners to discover their true passion and to define success on their own terms. Other gems were dropped during the episode as he gave advice on starting your own business and what each of us can do to find our purpose in this journey called life.

This week's episode was impromptu and also unconventional. KayTheRebel was interviewed by her bestie who asked her questions regarding sex. She answered them truthfully while feeling a huge level of embarrassment and discomfort. Should you be considered "childish" for your lack of bedroom experience or reluctance to try new things? KayTheRebel feels that women often switch up their sex game based on who the partner is; what she may do for one she may not do for the next.

This week KayTheRebel brings back her fav guest, Witty Empress aka Natasha who has made it her personal business to be featured on all of the deep/raw episodes. The ladies discussed a poetry clip found on Instagram that had a powerful message regarding mistakes women make while dating. "I'm teaching my affection to not overstay her welcome". Both ladies admitted to falling victim to this mistake and were extremely accountable.

On this week's episode, KayTheRebel chops it up with one of Boston's most underrrated artist, Jay Gatz. She gave a live review of his recent album "Fire Flies" which includes the powerful single "Black Matter" and the catchy, soulful track titled "Revolve Around You". KayTheRebel analyzed each track on the album and praised Gatz throughout the interview. in return, Gatz was super vulnerable as he shared his thoughts, feelings and opinions unapologetically. What will it take for you to recognize him?!

On this week's episode, KayTheRebel sits down with the owners of Villeside Customs as they embark on their journey of a podcast tour in efforts to market their black owned business. Marckendy & Jabir shared their experience of being black business owners, how they survived the pandemic as well as their strategies for branding and expanding their business. They also gave the listeners advice on the pros and cons to owning a business.

On this week's episode, KayTheRebel not only reviews Sam Levison's new film on Netflix titled "Malcolm & Marie", but she also focused on how much of herself she sees in the character Malcolm. While watching the entire film which was not just a "2 hour argument", she took the opportunity to reflect on her experience with being in a toxic relationship and how exhausting it truly is. She ended the episode questioning why people like Malcolm often end up in relationships with people like Marie. Why would anyone want to be in a long-term relationship with someone who is damaged?

This week don't be alarmed when KayTheRebel starts off the episode with a famous clip from HBO's unforgettable show "The Wire" using this as reference to discuss reputation vs character. She purged about the recent TI & Tiny allegations, Mrs. Gorilla Glue, the power of a "sneaky link", emotions, unsolicited opinions and a confession where she admitted that she is not always comfortable within her sexuality/approach to sex.

This week KayTheRebel took one of her favorite tracks by Brandy, "Scared of Beautiful" and analyzed the lyrics closely. She realized that the lyrics were an actual reflection of some of the thoughts that she has regarding her life and how she is currently in the process of trying to shift her mindset. Focusing on the lows in life often times distracts us from the highs. Change your thinking if you want to change your life!!!

Everyone's talking about Lori Harvey right? Well this week KayTheRebel couldn't resist and wanted to chime in on the discussion. She talked about Lori Harvey's dating history leading up to her recent romance w/ Michael B. Jordan and how she feels we can learn a thing or two. Should more women approach dating the way Lori Harvey does? Absolutely!!

This week KayTheRebel felt she needed to record a refresher of an old episode titled "Karma". Back then she felt that she didn't take heed to the laws of karma that she discussed. She took the opportunity to redefine karma, what it means to her and how she feels it has visited her recently. There was discussion of the universe and how sometimes we miss signals that warn us that karma is approaching.

With her first episode of the year, KayTheRebel approaches the mic unapologetically as she discusses the topic of mothers and their broken sons. She discussed her experience first hand with being linked to a broken son, what she has learned and how she vows she will never be the mother of a broken son. The transparency in this episode is limitless!!!
