On this week's episode KayTheRebel discusses dating. She decided to switch it up & focus on green flags one can focus on as opposed to the negative (red flags). Her soul sistah Natasha joined her and they each listed the 7 green flags they admire in a man. Later on in the episode KayTheRebel voiced how she is open to dating however she is emotionally unavailable and feels more people should be understanding of that in general.

This week KayTheRebel brings back her special guest Natasha and they peel back layers and discuss what "being enough" means for both of them. They also discussed Bishop TD Jake's theory on 10-gallon folks vs pint folks. 10-Gallon Folks most often consider themselves as being enough and have so much to give, while pint folks show up in our lives with the bare minimum to bring the table.

This week KayTheRebel discusses heartbreaks and trauma and if the healing process is ever truly guaranteed. She compared past pain/anguish to current pain & trauma. Years ago she dealt with trauma completely different from how she does today. She gave some tips to anyone currently experiencing heartbreak and/or trauma. As always she promoted her belief that she will always be a survivor and never anyone's victim #Heavy

An episode filled with truth, controversy & a week's worth of clownery.

This week it was only right to come thru with a purge episode. KayTheRebel vented about Tory Lanez vs Megan, Cardi B's marriage, monogamy as well as "sex being a chore" which sparked much controversy surrounding Devale & Khadeen Ellis. Who was Amber Rose talking about? Who asked for another T.I album? Her rant came to end voicing her grievances with people who think karma is unavoidable and ugly people with a nasty attitude.

On this week's episode, KayTheRebel is joined by a special guest "Natasha", who approached the mic and gave her insight on crystals, plants and the importance of spiritual self-care. They then went on to discuss the difference between vibes and energy. So many gems and definitely a moment of self-reflection for KayTheRebel.

After a 3 week break, KayTheRebel returns with more opinions and perspectives. She discussed the reactions to Niecey Nash tieing the knot with a woman and how she was not here for Monica during the verzuz battle w/ Brandy. Next on the agenda was misconceptions of self-care, how some people need to step their game up and learn how to communicate more effectively and that black women should be more open to protecting themselves. The episode ended with praises for Virgo women.

On this week's episode, KayTheRebel gives her new segment a second round. Why are people praying for Kanye again? Has Megan been hit with a harsh reality that this industry don't love you back? Vado vs Tahiry- Domestic violence: a thin line between toxic/dangerous relationships & true victims. Black is King (praises & criticism), forgiving your friends and coping with anxiety.

Two years ago, KayTheRebel remembers not being a fan of people gaining closure in many situations. This week, she returned to this topic with a change of heart. She gained a new perspective on closure and felt that it is most beneficial if the person/people are those that have value. Repairing & rebuilding were the tools she felt are needed to effectively gain closure and went down a list of relationships she has repaired and/or rebuilt.

On this week's episode, KayTheRebel has an in depth discussion regarding "hurt people, hurt people". She peeled back all of the layers surrounding that statement and focused on the origin of brokenness. In a huge moment of vulnerability, she shared how she has been broken a few times and how she always pushed through!!! How many people are actually willing to admit that they're shattered? What are you willing to do to change that?

This week KayTheRebel introduces a new segment where she literally purges all of her thoughts & feelings about any & all things. August & Jada were first on the list. Next, she gave some simple yet effective relationship advice & then spoke her piece about overconsumption of social media, body acceptance and the unfortunate idea of Kanye running for president.

After a brief hiatus, KayTheRebel returns after both regrouping and rethinking about all of the recent events following the tragic death of George Floyd. She discussed a timeline of events and her thoughts on all that she has witnessed. Later, she ended the episode voicing how racism and police brutality has impacted her personally and trying to process all of the different thoughts and emotions she has in light of all of that is happening currently.

This week KayTheRebel talked about issues surrounding single women or women who have failed relationships. Why do we tear the next sista down for shortcomings in her love life? Why is that some single women can often be judgmental and/or envious of women who are in relationships? She also discussed that there are some women out there who are perfectly aligned with the statement "that's why you're single" or are accused of not being able to keep a man.

Are you comfortable with your flaws or are you constantly working on them? KayTheRebel did some self-reflection this week and listed all 4 of her flaws and how she is 100% comfortable with all of them and only works on one which was anger. She also voiced her belief that some of our flaws provide us with depth; making us more interesting or appealing at times. Sometimes you have to spend more time enjoying the people in your life that accept you for your flaws and anyone outside of that is irrelevant.

Although 5 years late, KayTheRebel wanted to voice her thoughts on Bill Duke's documentary "Light Girls". The episode began with her sharing an anecdote regarding a time she witnessed colorism without realizing it as a freshman in high school. She felt the question "What are you" sometimes makes things go south and that it leads to unintended tones/remarks especially when someone is mixed/biracial. Her overall opinion on colorism is that it's probably never going to end and that we should probably stop saying that people "act" light skin.

This season of Insecure had KayTheRebel in deep thought about a few things. Can you have a business relationship with someone who is currently dating your ex? Watching the downward spiral of Issa & Molly's friendship made KayTheRebel reflect on one of her own friendships. What is the proper way to handle distance in a friendship? The episode ended with her point of view on processing pain or struggling to find closure once you end a relationship due to infidelity.

This week KayTheRebel dives right into the fact that she feels it is perfectly okay to dislike people even when you don't know them "like that". She discussed how important vibes and energy are and that in those moments when you don't dig someone, their accomplishments/accolades are irrelevant. Bad first impressions & character flaws should not be dismissed as they are often a reflection of who someone is. She despises the phrase "he/she is a good person". What the f*ck does that even mean?!

This week KayTheRebel links up with @KingJeano @KingRube to gain some additional insight on last week's episode. KayTheRebel grilled the gentlemen about their indecisiveness when it comes to dating/relationships and love in general. Although it was very difficult to understand perspectives that were different from hers, she was able to take away a hard lesson: men don't approach relationships or love the way women do and most likely, they never will.

On this week's episode, KayTheRebel discusses choices in love. Do we take a greater risk with love or our careers or both? While reflecting on Issa Rae's character in the recent film "The Photograph", she had so many questions surrounding why it seems black women have to walk the EXTRA mile too often when it comes to love.

On this episode, KayTheRebel speaks on what it truly means when a black woman says in a relationship "I'm not your mother". After coming across a post on social media stating that men had "shoes" to fill as they're expected to treat their women as her father did, she refuted that argument rather quickly. She also felt that a lot of times black women end up playing a mother role while in a relationship without even realizing it. This week's word with Kay: Love your partner not just for who they are, but be sure to love them with purpose and intent.
