When nothing happens in this episode, Mac is reminded of a time during World War II when nothing happened. Also, Anne is back and skulks into a collapsed subway to give birth and become the target of sexist rants by jerks on the internet. The Rewatchers delve deep into a smorgasbord of nothing, crack nothing jokes, and recount the world’s craziest speech about nothing (and Nazis!). Also, they defend Anne for one last time.

When the outlandishly dramatic Walter (Dr. Jacoby?) comes to town intent on murdering a pre-immortal piano prodigy in order to preserve her (meh) genius, Duncan must stop this fashion inept weirdo from crossing the line in his pursuit of the arts. The Rewatchers debate whether Walter is compelling or a creep (or both), try to figure out Methos’s sudden obsession with a dying waitress, and discuss their favorite new game, Duncans in Drag-ons.

Mac’s perplexing code of honor rears it’s hypocritical head when Richie climbs in bed (literally) with Duncan’s murderous immortal ex. The Rewatchers discuss Duncan’s baffling infatuation with a horrible painter, paint all over Methos’s nose, and get grossed out by the number of wet sounds.

After Mac’s university colleague acquires an ancient Indian statue, the statue’s guardian Kamir comes to Seacouver to reclaim it, present reasonable moral quandaries, and then (in classic Highlander fashion), go completely off the rails. The Rewatchers discuss the etymology of the word thug, the ethics of modern museums, and rant about neo-nazis.

When Mac foils a hit on a morally dubious grocer perpetrated by Paul Kinman, an inept immortal assassin that once killed Mac’s croquet partner in the Court of Queen Victoria, Duncan must decide whether to testify against Kinman in public or privately relieve him of his head. The Rewatchers delve into the communal aspects of justice, discuss the surprising fate of director Neill Fearnley, and rip the supposedly innocent shopkeeper a new one.

The Rewatchers received so many passionate responses about their last few pods that the fans deserve their own bonus episode to hash out fan theories, tease their hosts, and air their grievances. Mac’s date night with Joe and Amanda is rudely interrupted by Colonel Spider-Man, who seeks revenge for 70 years of incarceration by abducting Duncan and Amanda’s creepy doppelgänger. The Rewatchers discuss a sweet sword throw, the world’s weirdest quickening, the groan inducing arachnotorium, and the strange similarities with the previous episode.

Fleeing an evil old-timey boat captain, immortal kiddo/murderer Kenny seeks refuge with Dr. Anne Lindsey, who promptly reunites the little monster with Duncan and Kenny's old teacher, Amanda. The Rewatchers try to figure out why Anne is in this episode, why an 800-year-old still wants milk with dinner, and why the relentless darkness of this episode culminates with non-consensual minor mouth kissing.

When Mac’s immortal pal Kit (the degenerate gambler, not the talking car) comes to town to buy a race horse, Mac has his hands full keeping him away from Amanda, who once posed as a French tourist to swindle Kit out of a casino. The Rewatchers discuss the rare lighthearted episodes that actually STAYS lighthearted, a life and death library emergency, and Super Mario’s guest appearance as a lecherous creep.

In another spotlight on Highlander adjacent properties, the Rewatchers take on Razorback- the first film by the Highlander Russel Mulcahy. In this bonkers outback horror show, an enormous armored boar and a crew of Mad Max villains (separately) terrorize the Outback, claiming the life of a wayward animal rights activist. The activist’s widower must then team up with a disgraced boar hunter and a hot farmer to seek revenge on both man and pig. The Rewatchers dig deep into some vegetarian messaging, drink some weird grass jelly, and make an embarrassing mockery of the Aussie accent.

In this simultaneously serious and profoundly silly chapter, Mac lets the dogs out on the immortal Kanis (groan), a pervy leather-daddy who hunts down immortals with a vicious pack of dogs. Meanwhile, Richie is somehow able to look up from a giant hot dog long enough to identify a Carrot Top look-alike as the junkie who shot Tessa and transforms into BEAST MODE. The Rewatchers sink their teeth into the completely outlandish style of this leather-clad villain, appreciate Richie's own crime fighting alter ego (Richie Robin), and rejoice in the most bonkers quickening since Mac saw ghosts.

In this one-of-a-kind bonus episode, the Rewatchers discuss the film Alligator Shoes, directed and starring Highlander legend/friend of the pod, Clay Borris! Conflict simmers between the Super Borris Brothers when their young aunt comes to live them after an extended stay in a mental health facility. The Rewatchers talk about building emotional tension, fighting the disabled, chugging beer on film (with no hands!), and unexpected incest. Buckle up, this one is a wild ride!

The Rewatchers shed a tear while debating the virtues of mercy killings, try to compose a more compelling villain than Tyler King, and consider the role of fate in the immortal game.

In the rare minisode that actually qualifies as “mini”, the Rewatchers discuss Dance for Joy, Elizabeth Gracen’s short documentary about dance therapy. The team experiences the uplifting power of dance, uncovers the mysterious Highlander Opera, and teases some upcoming goodies!
