Over 20 years of music and playing their 20th something show at infamous Rave/Eagle's Ballroom in Milwaukee it was time to catch up with great Sevendust. Lead singer Lajon Witherspoon reflects on the shows, the ghost hunting, the people and more. Plus tells about a Netflix movie that features some scenes with him and his family. Also he once again brings up those crazy barstools from a venue that we used to book Sevendust at. Oh and is there a new album? If so may we suggest a name? 'In Sevendust We Trust'

Ahh back home again. Backstage at the historic Eagle's Ballroom/The Rave in Milwaukee, WI. Bring Me The Horizon played one the best shows I've seen in sometime. The energy, the setlist, the sound, everything was amazing. No one left without a smile on their face that night. Before the took the stage on their 2nd Base tour, Luna Nicole and I went backstage to talk to Bring Me The Horizon songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Jordan Fish.

You know Scott Stapp, you know who is, but do you? You know him as the lead singer of Creed. Maybe you heard about his issues? Maybe you're just a fan. No matter what we're getting into the mental health aspect of Scott Stapp, we're getting into his charity work via the With Arms Wide Open Foundation and we're getting into his new solo album due out July 19th.

Chris Motionless is the lead singer of Motionless in White. As the story goes we first met in Las Vegas at an industry dinner when we were both very new to the music industry. We've remained friends ever since and I personally couldn't be happier for him. With the help of Kaytie we dig deep into the music, into their very rabid fan base and into our own mental capacities. We're backstage with Chris from Motionless in White.

Atreyu just kicked off their tour doing direct support for Motionless in White. After the release of the album In Our Wake there has been a return to form for Atreyu. Profoundly.me is an app going around Facebook where you can ask a person anything and do anonymously. I posted it and let people ask me questions and I then applied at a conversation between Kaytie and I. So not only do I answer these Profoundly questions but so does Kaytie. Also opens up the conversation about commenting via social media and the negative effects it can have on bands. Like posting dildos pictures next to Taylor Momsen pictures, or only commenting about Mixi from Stitched Up Heart's boobs when they post a new song. This episode is definitely not safe for work.

Kaytie and I spoke with A Dead Desire's Moroni Silva about how the band formed, recovering from addiction, and his newly released cover of the Eurythmics’ “Here Comes the Rain Again" featuring late All That Remains guitarist Oli Herbert. It turns out that Moroni and Oli came up with the idea of covering the Eurythmics' song while having a few drinks one night. They recorded a small part of the song on Moroni's phone before eventually covering the track.

It's here! The highly anticipated 2nd full length album from I Prevail 'Trauma' is available now. Dylan and Eric from I Prevail joined me to dive into this record a bit. This is a conversation that Kaytie and I have been having since we started having conversations. Women rock, plain and simple. There is no difference between a male band and a female band and the idea that it's separate needs to go away. So you know girl power and stuff. We are all even, we are all one and on this episode of the Rockcast we turn our attention to the L.A. based Diamante and her debut album 'Coming in Hot.'

Before Shinedown played a sold out show in Green Bay, WI Kaytie and I sat down in the warm up room backstage with drummer Barry Kerch. We caught up about family and how his is from the area, about playing a venue that's been standing for over 50 years and is about to be torn down. We talked about the transition period between the original Shinedown line up and the one that has now stood the test of time. Of course a lot of music talk as well. Listen when I say the 4 members of Shinedown are some of the sweetest and nicest human beings on the planet, I mean it.

Where do I begin with Jacoby Shaddix? I first meet the Papa Roach lead singer probably around 2002 and I think it was at a bar. Since then it's hugs and catch ups everytime we see each other. Now instead of it being over some sort of bottle it's with microphones in hand, stories of our kids and loved ones, and talk of music. He's been sober for 7 years and is better than ever. Catching up with an old friend outside of the arena where I saw my first concert makes this conversation a special one.

I just got back from spending 8 days in Vegas, Kaytie just got back from spending 2 days in Vegas that was supposed to be 3 than only 1 and then...just listen to the story. Also huge thanks to the Contraband Company and CO5 for putting on the #happens conference. We had an incredible time.

After all the lead up, a number one song, and another top 15 song that's rising Badflower's debut full length album is here. OK, I'm sick is the long awaited doubt album by Badflower and it features a couple songs you already know like "Ghost" & "Heroin." We caught up them in Las Vegas before heading back to L.A. for a hometown album release show.

Long Beach, CA band Rival Sons just released their 6th album 'Feral Roots' and their first single from it "Do Your Worst" is now a top ten rock song. Catching up while in tour in Europe, lead singer Jay Buchanan gets on the phone with myself and Kaytie. We talk the new album, we talk touring with Black Sabbath, border delays, and new merch lines.

The title says it all. Needless to say we and many of us in the rock community were not happy after the 2019 Grammy Awards.

You may or may not know Mark Morton as the guitarist of the metal band Lamb of God, but I'm a huge fan. Mark has decided to expand his song writing chops and put out a solo album called 'Anesthetic' due out March 1st. The album features a lot of rock dream collaborations including the song "Cross Off" featuring deceased Linkin Park singer Chester Bennington. Kaytie and I caught up with Mark to tell us about this amazing song and album.

Today (Jan. 18th) is release day for Papa Roach! Their tenth studio album is called 'Who Do You Trust?' and looks to be like another great record from a staple of rock. Jerry Horton joins me quick to talk about the new record and help celebrate today's release.
