Cutter's Rockcast

DED is a metal / hard rock band from the Tempe / Phoenix, AZ area. The band's lead singer Joe Cotela and guitarist David Ludlow joined myself and Kaytie via phone to let us get inside their heads a bit. Their debut full length album Mis.an.Thrope will be out on July 21st and don't forget to check out the video for their song "Anti-Everything" which was directed by none other than Limp Bizkit's Fred Durst. The band Never Say Die features Dean and Brandon from My Darkest Days. You remember them right? They are the band that brought you the sexy dance anthem "Porn Star Dancing." They were in town to play a show and joined me live on air on Razor 94.7. They talked about the band, their past and performed one song acoustic. The entire band Stitched Up Heart stopped by the studio ahead of their Stitched Up House Party at some dude's house who won on the radio. Actually that party was a blast. This is an inside look at the band and what makes them tick, plus there's a lot of kitty and dick jokes.

The full band Hell or Highwater came by the studio to hang out with Kaytie and myself. We talked music, the business of records and plenty of jokes. The band was formed by Atreyu drummer/singer Brandon Saller. Their new album Vista is out and the song "I Want it All" is being played everywhere.

Kaytie, Rylan and myself discuss the one thing that got us and maybe you into music in the first place. Plus the proper way the balls need to cupped, don't ask.

On this, the day of her birth the lovely lead singer of Stitched Up Heart, Mixi joined both Kaytie and I live on Razor 94.7 during a segment called The Razor 3-Way. So happy birthday Mixi, and enjoy our quick conversation.

We made the list! Ok maybe that's not a good thing, but WWE Superstar, host of Talk is Jericho and of course the lead singer of Fozzy, Chris Jericho joined Rylan, Kaytie and myself in studio on my home station Razor 94.7 on Friday May 12th. Fozzy was in town to play a show so of course we talked about that but also went deep on the band, managing wrestling and music and much more. Also Chris does not actually believe he his bigger than the Beatles. That would just be assinine.

As Myles Kennedy and his band Alter Bridge kick off The Last Hero Tour, Myles sits down with Cutter to discuss their latest album and the new tour. This spawns an idea though for Kaytie and Cutter, what's up with the setlist?

Cutter and Kaytie spent a night backstage at the Half God Half Devil tour talking to Motionless in White, Gemini Syndrome and Avatar. Cutter's conversation with In This Moment can be heard on the last episode of the Rockcast. Then back in the studio Rylan gets in on the fun. Episode 11: Half God Half Devil is now on the Rockcast.

At day two of the Half God Half Devil tour I sat down on the tour bus of In This Moment and talked to Chris Howorth, the band's guitarist. Now what I didn't expect was for Chris to drop a ton of information on a new album that hadn't been announced yet. On March 31st while on tour across the United States the Kentucky based kick ass rock n' roll band stopped by and joined me in the studio on my home base radio station Razor 94.7 (WZOR.) On top of talking about the new video for the song Cheaper to Drink Alone, playing live, why they are bigger in Europe and just how incredible their touring partner Caleb Johnson is, the band performed two songs acoustic. Taylor Momsen is the amazing front woman for the rock band The Pretty Reckless who six months ago put out their 3rd album 'Who You Sellin' For?' Plus they haven't really gotten off the road at all. This year you'll see them at many different festivals and on tour with Taylor's rock band crush Soundgarden. Rylan being no stranger to the road herself, her and Cutter tell some tails from their experiences rocking around the country.

He's sold.....He's done....He's been in....Yeah the intro seems embellished but so what, it's Corey Feldman! That's right I had a conversation with the leader of the Angels himself.
