Years ago Kaytie and her then co-host Wes Styles replaced the long running, nationally syndicated morning show Free Beer and Hot Wings on Kaytie's former radio station in Springfield, IL. When that happened there were words said by listeners and more importantly by then Free Beer and Hot Wing's co-host Eric Zane. Kaytie was hurt by this and for good reason. In this episode she explains her side of the story, a story that she has never told publicly before. This is in response to Eric Zane explaining his side of the story in a recent episode of his podcast The Eric Zane Show. It should be noted that both Eric and the rest of the Free Beer and Hot Wings show have made amends with Kaytie, and Kaytie being the wonderful human being she is does not hold a grudge and everyone gets along now. The band Messer have been grinding it out for the past few years and are now starting to see some success. Successful tours and their latest single "Simple Man" is on the rise via the rock radio charts. I met them earlier this year and we immediately became friends. They even let me come up on stage and jam with them at a showcase in Las Vegas. Kicking off their tour with Scott Stapp they stopped by the studio on their way to the first show. Before one of the best concerts we've seen in a long time we caught up with singer Jeremy McKinnon and guitarist Neil Westfall. 7 records in what is now 16 years as a band and one of the most rabid fanbases in rock it's always amazing to talk to and see A Day To Remember. Finishing their Collapse the World Tour with Parkway Drive I caught up with Jesse Leach, lead singer of Killswitch Engage, for a conversation about mental health. Also some info on new music and personal believes.

Hellyeah! have had a year of heartbreak and loss. Really after the death of Vinnie Paul we all had to deal with heartbreak and loss.
