'Medium Rarities' is the name of a compilation album by Mastodon that features one new song and a bunch of hard to find, covers and live songs. Time to catch up with one of the best guitarists in hard rock/heavy metal Bill Kelliher of Mastodon.

This conversation was actually recorded on Halloween and I was proudly wearing my Batman onesie will talking to Royal Blood. The two piece band joined me via Zoom from England to talk about their latest song "Trouble's Coming" and what's going on with their upcoming third album. Also me being the nerd I am I had to ask how they make this huge sound with just the two of them.

Ayron Jones is a Seattle born guitarist and singer/songwriter. He hails from the same neighborhood as Jimi Hendrix but a Hendrix clone he is not. Being influenced by the blues, hard rock, hip-hop and R&B Ayron has a sound all his own. Let's find out more plus a special Rockcast exclusive live performance of hit single "Take Me Away."

I can't even begin to explain how deep this conversation goes. Jason Alon Butler is the lead singer of Fever 333 who are just as much a revolution as they are a band. Jason had been on the front lines of the most recent protests and wrote the new ep 'Wrong Generation' all about it. Chris Daughtry is of course the lead singer of the band of his name sake. He rose to fame in the early 2000's after being a runner up on American Idol. Of course the dude is a rock guy and if he ever needed to prove it, he's done just that with his latest release "World on Fire."

It's been 9 years since Evanescence released a proper album. Soon that will change with 'The Bitter Truth' but first Amy Lee is using her power for good with the song "Use My Voice." Amy is truly a wonderful human being and one of the most intelligent women I've ever met so it's about time she joins us for a conversation on the Rockcast.

Artists for Recovery is the name that has been given to a slew of artists that are now sober and are raising awareness for one of the worst epidemics this country has ever seen. The song "Maybe it's Time" by Sixx:A.M. has been re-released with Corey Taylor, Ivan Moody, Tommy Vext, Slash, Joe Elliot and more and they did to put money (literally) where their mouth is for the opioid problem. James Micheal joins me for a quick conversation to discuss this further.

The two piece rock and roll band Cleopatrick hale form Cobourg, Ontario, Canada and Kaytie and I have been listening to them for a couple of years. With the official single release in the States of their song "Hometown" they are poised to do amazing things. New album is coming, as we get an introduction to Cleopatrick.

Eric is of course one of the two singers in the band I Prevail. With their last two singles featuring guest spots, one with rapper Joyner Lucas in the song "DOA" and of course "Every Time You Leave" featuring Canadian singer Delaney Jane a conversation needed to happen about mash up of genres going on here. Plus what exactly are I Prevail up to during this pandemic?

Matt Brandyberry is one of the founding members of the band From Ashes to New. On the cusp of their 3rd album 'Panic' coming out (Auguest 28th) plus the title track now being a top 15 song in the world of mainstream rock, it was time to catch up. Joining me from his home with his Philadelphia Eagles cup next to him at all times we catch up on the band, on some personal stuff and even make it through a lost connection and a private investigator.

Holy crap! This is the 200th episode of Cutter's Rockcast. This is a big deal to us and we can't thank you enough for joining us on this journey. We discuss the orgins of this podcast, some favorite moments, but we're still a little ticked off at the world. It's all that rock and roll angst.

Lauren Kashan is the lead singer of the Baltimore based hardcore band Sharptooth. After hearing their current single "Say Nothing" I couldn't help myself and I needed to know more about this band.

John Humprey is the drummer of Seether and an all around fun dude to sit and have a conversation with. With the release of their new song a couple of weeks ago called "Dangerous," a new album due out at the end of August and having Corey Lowery now being a full member of the band, there is plenty to catch up about.

Lajon Witherspoon is of course the lead singer of the almighty Sevendust. They have just released a cover Soundgarden's "The Day I Tired to Live," plus a new album is done. Let's find out more!

Joining from their hideout in a small town somewhere in Missouri is The Black Moods. Now the story goes that I met these guys a few years ago on New Years Eve in their actual hometown of Phoenix, AZ. We hung out for a couple of days and we became friends. Earlier this year they put out a new album called 'Sunshine' featuring their previous hit songs "Bella Donna" and "Bad News" plus the title track which has now become their biggest song to date. It's high time we catch up with Josh, Jordan and Chico from The Black Moods.

For the first time in months Kaytie and I were in the same room together. We had a lot to catch up on including how dating during a pandemic has been working out. Also you know what, we have thoughts about the world and what's going on and maybe it's high time we get it off our chests.

Joining me with a translator from their home in Mongolia is Gala, throat singer and horsehead fiddle player from the Mongolian hard rock band The Hu. This band has taken the rock world by storm in the past couple of years. Even though they don't speak english and all the songs are in their native tongue they have been winning over fans world wide. Now personally I've never interviewed someone with a translator before so be patient, but this ended up being one of my favorite conversations in recent memory.

Chris Bishop from the band Crobot joined from his friend's studio in Austin, TX via Instagram live to talk guitars and to jam a little. Oh we totally did some vodka shots together.
