Devil Daddy or more commonly he's known as Jeremy Spencer. Jeremy was a founding member of the arena headlining, platinum selling hard rock band Five Finger Death Punch. He played drums for the band and toured the world over and over again, that is until a couple of years ago. Jeremy was having some back problems and decided to step away from his drum kit and the band he formed with his friends Zoltan Bathory and Ivan Moody. Now he's back, but this time as the character Devil Daddy who fronts the band Psychosocial. Their debut song is out called "Devil From Hell" and are set to release a full album this spring. Let's dig in to the world Jeremy Spencer has created.

Escape the Fate's new album 'Chemical Warfare' is out now and it really continues the sound of their last album. The album though features a couple collaborations with one of them being with Lindsey Stirling. Yes the incredible violinist is featured on their new hit song "Invincible." Plus did you know that Thrasher worked on the latest Machine Gun Kelly album? Well let's dig in with Kevin Thrasher on the Rockcast.

One of the most legendary rock bands in history is the band Blue Oyster Cult. With their slogan of "On Tour Forever" of course they'd be one of the first bands we'd get to see live post pandemic. Oh and let's not forget there's that whole SNL skit about needing more cowbell, (and yes we talked at length about it.) Plus they put out a new album in 2020 that's full of classic BOC riffs and harmony's. It is an absolute honor to have on the Rockcast lead singer, Eric Bloom.

Joe Principe is the bassist and one of the founding members of the long running Chicago punk band Rise Against. A band that have become a household name for anyone who is a fan of rock music. They just announced their new album 'Nowhere Generation' due out on June 4th. We also talk about how they become comicized (made up word) for DC's Dark Nights: Metal comic book series. We also go a little down memory lane to the midwest punk scene of the 90's.

Let me first say that the new Chevelle album Niratias is absolutely incredible. The word is actually an acronym for "Nothing is real and this is a simulation." Seems pretty fitting for the times we're in. Pete and I discuss the album, the themes, the pandemic, the business and how much the business of music is not healthy for the artists.

That sold out show that evening sold me on everything this band has ever done and now they are back with an actual mainstream rock hit. Yes the grammy's have been postponed and they don't really pay very close attention to the world of hard rock, but In This Moment have shined through and have been nominated for best metal performance. I catch up with lead singer of In This Moment and the amazing Maria Brink to discuss it further. *note* This conversation took place just before Christmas and before we knew the Grammy's were postponed.

By this point we probably all know the emotional roller coaster ride that has been the life of Wes Scantlin, the lead singer of Puddle of Mudd. In the first part of this century it was hard pressed to find a more popular band, but drugs, alcohol and as Wes says women ultimately were the downfall. Then in 2019 he put out a new album called ‘Welcome to Galvania’ and rock radio welcomed them back with open arms. Myles Kennedy is the lead singer of Alter Bridge, but he's also the lead singer of Slash Featuring Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators, plus he's an accomplished solo artist in his own right. Alter Bridge put out a version of their latest album 'Walk the Sky' called 'Walk The Sky 2.0' that features one new song "Last Rights" and a bunch of songs recorded live during their shortened US tour in support of the album. Myles is an amazing and good dude and we're always happy to have him on the Rockcast.A

Lajon Witherspoon of Sevendust returns to the Rockcast as they get set to do another live stream concert on January 8th. This time they will be playing their 3rd album 'Animosity' in it's entirety. So we're digging back in time and talking about that landmark album.

The power of the monolith compelled me to have Utah's own Royal Bliss on the show. Although it didn't take much convincing as they are old friends, plus they currently have another top 20 single. That song is of course called "Medication" and the did it with former Sick Puppy, Shim. It was time to catch up with Neil and Taylor from Royal Bliss.
