Ep. 177: Interview with Shae & Phil of Kingdom Driven Entrepreneur
22/10/2020 Duração: 35minThis week is special. We are VERY selective of who we bring on the Marriedpreneur Life podcast. So, when we DO, just know that you are in for a real treat! This week we share an intimate chat with a couple and indie-preneur family, Shae and Phil Bynes. Their path is a bit different in that although they run two different businesses for now, they are in the transition between the two ventures. Shae founded Kingdom Driven Entrepreneur years ago and now, she is moving on and Phil is coming on as the CEO. They share tons of real-life nuggets that we guarantee will hit home, right where you are! In this episode you'll learn about:

Ep. 176: Priorities,Pacing and Pairing
15/10/2020 Duração: 23minRoutines get a bad rap. They can be monotonous and mundane at times. But the TRUTH of the matter is that routines are a manifestation of your discipline (and who doesn’t want or need to be even more disciplined?) We all grapple with being disciplined consistently at certain times. We’re breaking down simple routines we use as marriedpreneurs that help us to steward life well together. In this week’s episode of the Marriedpreneur Life podcast. We’re sharing

Ep. 175: The 5 T’s of Traction
08/10/2020 Duração: 13minGaining traction is a funny thing. It may seem like it takes a lot to get unstuck but the truth is simple strategy will always untie a tangled knot. A lack of traction steals motivation and money. The main purpose we are doing this episode is because we are tired of seeing marriedpreneurs so close to breaking through to their next level but get stuck...they lose traction. In this week’s episode of the Marriedpreneur Life podcast we’re sharing:

Ep. 174: Marriedpreneur Phase 3: Enterprising Movement Makers
01/10/2020 Duração: 34minIf you’ve missed any of the last 3 episodes, be sure to check them out first. Enterprising Movement Makers is the 3rd phase of the Marriedpreneurship phaseology! At this point in the process, you two have enough experience under your belt to accelerate and increase your visibility. The goal as marriedpreneurs, in our opinion, should always be to turn your message into a movement that impacts lives and increases your income along the journey. The primary focus of using your voice on your OWN platform is one of the main steps many overlook ( or fall off the consistency wagon after getting started). Consistency is not only KEY but it also cuts through the noise! In this week’s episode of the Marriedpreneur Life podcast. We’re sharing:
-
Ep. 173: Marriedpreneur Phase 2: ESTABLISHED Marriedpreneurs
24/09/2020 Duração: 16minIf you missed the last 2 episodes, go take a listen to them first. The second phase of marriedpreneurship is: ESTABLISHED. There’s something pretty sweet about getting traction in business AND clarifying your next steps. That’s exactly what’s happening in this phase. It often comes after consistently working on messaging and becoming efficient with basic systems. This phase also has a lot of room to grow as well. Check out the episode to learn not just about the Established phase of Marriedpreneurship but also, feel free to check out the model we’ve set out for you guys (in the event you haven’t created/implemented this piece yet in your business). In this week’s episode of the Marriedpreneur Life podcast we’re sharing about:

Ep. 172: Marriedpreneur Phase 1: Emerging Marriedpreneurs
17/09/2020 Duração: 20min(Hi guys! Last week, in episode 171, we started a short training series. If you haven’t listened to the last episode then we recommend you do that first in order to fully understand the entire strategy we’re sharing.) The first phase in our 3-phrase process is: Emerging Marriedpreneurs The importance of identifying this first phase is so your people can track and identify where they are starting from and introduce them to the resources you have, to help them grow through this phase. Just know that different phases may take longer than others to conquer depending on the person/people. For us, marriedpreneurs in the Emerging phase have a contagious excitement and are often very hopeful! They are usually the clearest as to their WHY. Further along the path, it’s easier to get distracted by the other shiny objects and opportunities. In this episode of Marriedpreneur Life podcast. We’re sharing about:

Ep. 171: Implementing Phaseology
10/09/2020 Duração: 18minOne of the most clarifying strategies we’ve implemented recently is ‘Phaseology’ (as we like to call it). For us, it will be used as a powerful tool to help other marriedpreneurs to self-identify which phase they are in and where they are going next. Not only does each phase speak to where they are but it also gives mile markers for their next steps in order to see real progress. Believe it or not, not many coaches that we’ve worked with have always had this BUT the ones who do, make it so much easier for us to excel in our learning, So, we want to be sure all of our marriedpreneurs, regardless of what type of marriedpreneur and regardless of your industry, we will want to incorporate it into your process. In episode #171 of the Marriedpreneur Life podcast. We’re sharing about:

Ep. 170: Anniversary Edition: 11-Year Lessons
03/09/2020 Duração: 18minThe smartest way to learn powerful life-changing lessons is to learn from others who have gone through the trenches of doing it (and lived to tell about it!) Ha! In this week’s episode of The Marriedpreneur Life podcast, we’re sharing some of our BIGGEST marriedpreneur lessons over the last 11 years of being married! (Yes, this is an anniversary edition- but it’s NOT your average lessons we’re sharing! In fact, we’re sharing the heart of each lesson in a concise succinct manner. But every lesson has a story behind...and we’re sharing the stories BEHIND the lessons over on IG and FB. (Just search #countdownto11years and all of our anniversary stories will appear) In this week’s episode of the Marriedpreneur Life podcast. We’re sharing,

Ep. 169: Missteps are Ordered Steps
27/08/2020 Duração: 26minIn this week’s episode of The Marriedpreneue Life podcast, we’re diving into one of the BIGGEST roadblocks that hold couples in fear…wrong perspective. The truth is, sometimes we need to give ourselves a little more grace. When we make ‘mistakes’ it’s easy to be hard on ourselves and keep replaying how we WISHED it happened. But the beautiful big picture is that even your MISsteps are ordered steps. (aye!) In this week’s episode of the Marriedpreneur Life podcast. We’re sharing about:

Ep. 168: Double Launch
20/08/2020 Duração: 17minWe broke a promise to ourselves and we’re paying for it. One of the pillars around building our multiple businesses was to avoid doing two separate launches in our individual businesses at the same time. Unfortunately, it snuck up on us and BIT us. We’re in a season of double launch and it’s a stretch for us. So, today, we decided to take you behind the scenes of how we will talk through this and hopefully avoid it from happening again. The beauty of this unscripted convo is it’s rawness, transparency, and REALness for us. In this episode of the Marriedpreneur Life podcast, you’ll learn:

Ep. 167: Tone-Talk For Wives
13/08/2020 Duração: 19minWhen we first got married, my O.L was working at the bank and I had been running my staffing and consultancy firm for about 15 years (I started in my teens). However, my husband had to instruct him on how to communicate with him. My entire adult life I had to ‘prove’ myself as a capable business owner and I wasn’t sure where the line was when it came to communicating with my husband. This episode of the Marriedpreneur Life Podcast, I’m speaking to wives about not necessarily what we say, but HOW we say it. THIS practice has helped not only our marriage but our businesses as well! I’m sharing about:

Ep. 166: Husband Maintenance
06/08/2020 Duração: 15minATTN HUSBANDS: As a husband, I know that many men are “quietly” wrestling with keeping their minds at peace during this pandemic. It’s easy to feel overwhelmed and with an influx of thoughts, husbands are contending for peace of mind. I get it. For those we serve and lead, our well-being of our soul is well worth it. Let me be transparent and say that I’ve had moments in this during the pandemic where I feel pressure from all sides. Not because of fear of Covid-19, but because I’m finding it difficult to adjust to all that is new. Actually, it’s the constant influx of thoughts about how to move forward with family, ministry, and business. As a man, all of the change and uncertainty can throw us off-kilter. In this episode, I speak to you candidly and with another layer of vulnerability. I share with you what is working for me as a husband. Consider this insight in real-time for managing the real world. Today, on this solo episode, I’m sharing:

Ep. 165- Pricing In A Pandemic
30/07/2020 Duração: 14minWe were deceived and didn’t even realize it until this moment. We were at a coaching event and doing some goal setting with a small group of entrepreneurs. Some were seasoned while others were pretty new to this training and coaching industry. I remember the coach asked each of us our money goals from our next retreat or business to write them on the board. Before she came to our table we intensely chatted among each other to figure number out...was it too low? Too high? We didn’t know but we thought we were doing pretty good since this was a goal that we had never met. It would have been a total blessing for our family. It was a stretch but we still were unsure how we fared with the others in the room. When she got to our table which was on the last tables, we shared our number with the class and she paused slightly but kept going (as if she didn’t pause). We finally were able to see everyone’s numbers on the board. Sure enough, ours was the lowest goal by far. I wondered immediately what we were missing whe

Ep. 164: Planning in a Pandemic
23/07/2020 Duração: 20minWe fell off and we admitted it to our clients. Last night we were sharing with our Mastery clients (the highest level of training we offer) that we fell off. The very thing that we train them to do, we hadn’t done. Did that make us hypocrites? I don’t know… Maybe in the technical definition of the word. But all we know is, we work to be transparent (not perfect) in all of our coachings. We want our names to be synonymous with truthful, transparent, and those who create transformation (even if that means sharing our missteps). The great thing is we didn’t feel judged when we explained that we absolutely feel off of doing our quarterly training the earlier part of this year. But this quarter we got tired of just ‘getting by’ (yes, even in quarantine). Ep. 163: The 4 Levels of Impact
16/07/2020 Duração: 24minIf impacting the lives of others is at the heart of your business, you’ll want to listen to ALL of this podcast episode. For starters, if you’re like us, you’re ready to learn in when someone has something of substance to say. Nowadays, everyone has a voice- and nearly everyone is using it. This ultimately creates a lot of chatter and very little change. So, what's the difference between chatter and change? Impact. But not everyone has the same kind of impact, right? We’ve observed and are now sharing the 4 levels of impact for marriedpreneurs. Smart Insights + Tools Supporting Marriedpreneur Legacies In this week’s episode of the Marriedpreneur Life podcast, the smart insights + tools are:

Ep. 162: The 4 A’s of Investing
09/07/2020 Duração: 25minWe had an emergency. After being married only a few months, we had to figure it out quickly. We were living in Dallas (which isn’t known for the BEST public transportation system). Our transmission in the car went out and we didn’t have enough savings to repair it. But rewind a year prior, I (O.L.) started investing small amounts into a growing industry. It averaged about $20 about every two weeks. I reached my goal of gains over $1000 in under a year. By the time we got married, I told my wife about my met goal. She thought it was a good idea to cash out and reinvest somewhere else. The timing could not have been more perfect. As soon as we cashed out is when the transmission went out. With only making small investments throughout the year, we were able to stay afloat when we hit a ‘bump in the road’. With the current pandemic, now it’s the best time to invest and expect serious gains. Building generational wealth is what many marriedpreneurs are missing so, we want to do our part and fix what we can!

Ep. 161: Marriedprenur growth myths
02/07/2020 Duração: 16minIs it possible to grow IN business and not GROW your business? We believe so. After coaching literally countless couples in business, we’ve found a consistent mis-alignment that ultimately impacts the business’s ROI. It comes down to working ON the business vs. working IN the business. Whether you are building multiple revenue streams or just one revenue stream, these two are not mutually exclusive. They work together, and we’re going to show you how. In this week’s episode of the Marriedpreneur Life podcast, we’re sharing about:

Ep. 160: Just because you pivot, doesn’t mean it’s NOT purpose
25/06/2020 Duração: 25minIt was years before it clicked for us… Years of conferences, coaching, and trial and error. Even though we had an idea of who we wanted to help, we fumbled around on trying to get CLEAR about HOW to help them. You see, there were TONS of pivots on our path before arriving where we are now. (And we have no doubt that there will be more turns in the future). Some would say that when you pivot you’re admitting failure. It ISN’T failure at all. The truth is, pivoting is NECESSARY as you grow. In this week’s episode of the Marriedpreneur Life podcast, we’re sharing about:
-
Ep. 159: False Focus
18/06/2020 Duração: 12minTo be completely transparent, we’ve found ourselves totally distracted in life… marriage, ministry and business. We realized the distraction came from a seemingly ‘good place’. It came from intense focus. As Marriedpreneurs and as Believers… leaving a lasting impact requires focus, but when focus goes rogue, it turns toxic. In this week’s episode of the Marriedpreneur Life podcast, we’re sharing about:

Ep. 158: Time for Time Off
11/06/2020 Duração: 23minWe’ve heard so many say... “ since Covid-19, I’ve been busier now than before.” Since sheltering in place (even though we’ve worked from home for years) we can definitely feel the effects of the outside pressure on the inside… can you? After mentioning how drained I was feeling over time, last week, Sway and I finally decided to do something about it! I decided to take some time off. The crazy thing is, I didn’t see HOW I could possibly do that with all that we have going on right now. But at the same time, I didn’t see how I could afford NOT to. So, we’re showing you the MAJOR steps we’re taking to be proactive (and not implode). In this episode, we’re sharing what we’ve learned about spontaneous time off and how it’s impacted EVERYTHING for us… everything. Here’s what you’ll learn:
