This week, I was fascinated by a conversation on the Hidden Brain podcast with Leidy Klotz, a professor at Virginia University. He shared a story about building blocks with his child. Do we need all this complexity, or is there a way to live more meaningfully by stripping back? What are we hiding from or masking with the complexity? Join me as I reflect on my life and the accumulated clutter, especially in our busy schedules. I'll share insights on how saying 'no' can empower and how Eastern philosophies like Buddhism advocate for a simpler, more focused e

Like incorporating mindfulness into our lives by observing our feelings from a detached viewpoint,

Graham Brown : Creating Your Story
08/05/2024 Duração: 01h05minThis show was last released in March 2022. At the time, it was called 3 Plane Tickets and No Plans. If you want help with that check out the link here Back to Graham and those plane tickets. Some of us dream about dropping everything and taking off, but what happens when you do, and more to the point, what makes an entrepreneur with a growing business cash it all in, get on a plane with his family and become a nomad? Our show is about the call to adventure. Sometimes it takes a wake-up call to see life for what it is, “fragile”. We assume it will continue forever, and the story will play out well. In reality, we cannot make those assumptions; all we can do is live our best life by taking control of the story. Graham Brown was a st
