Although 5 years late, KayTheRebel wanted to voice her thoughts on Bill Duke's documentary "Light Girls". The episode began with her sharing an anecdote regarding a time she witnessed colorism without realizing it as a freshman in high school. She felt the question "What are you" sometimes makes things go south and that it leads to unintended tones/remarks especially when someone is mixed/biracial. Her overall opinion on colorism is that it's probably never going to end and that we should probably stop saying that people "act" light skin.
