That's right, the original Highlander himself, Christopher Lambert, calls in from across the pond to talk about why Highlander has such staying power, revisit the thunder god Raiden, and take a masterclass in the F-Bomb, and so much more!

VIDEO ALERT! - In this surreal time of social distancing, the Rewatchers come at you from their respective quarantine pads to bring you some updates, let you know how they are spending some time, and maybe even brag about a cute pet or two. Mac's old friend Kyra wakes up in an asylum for the criminally insane with no memory only to discover that the Marx Brothers are trying to kill her on the orders of a genocidal taxidermist. Mac shows up eventually to feed Kyra a whole bowl of apples and make racially charged dick jokes (and literally nothing else). The Rewatchers try to figure out why Kyra was committed in the first place, discuss whether an immortal amnesia plot has legs, and get furious about the Kill Bill levels of violence against women needlessly used to kick off this episode.

In a weird rehash of the previous episode, Mac is friends with an immortal conman named Willie... for some reason. Willie’s wife is killed when they try to run a grift on the son of a diplomat... who is also randomly Mac’s homie. Conflict ensues. The Rewatchers discuss Mac’s decision to take up the sword to stop big Willie style, celebrate a cliffhanger ghost, and wonder if there is a moral question in here somewhere.

A very guilty seeming immortal with amazing eyebrows named Alex RAVEN (hey! That’s a show!) is implicated in blowing up Mac’s friend/bocce parter, an... old French banker? With stolen Nazi gold? Spoiler: Turns out it was actually the banker’s dirtbag son. The Rewatchers discuss one of the clunkiest misdirects on record, learn about leveraged bonds, and discuss the first of many spinoff auditions.

The Rewatchers sit down with Edwin "Itsy" Atkins, the production manager on the original Highlander! Tune in to hear all about lighting New York City, Conner ruining airbags, and for a story that---at long last-- makes Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles relevant to this show.

Duncan seeks out a sad priest, who provides Mac with zero insights, so he can go toe-to-toe with an apocalyptic demon’s true form: the little person from Twin Peaks. The Rewatchers learn no lessons, break down this priest’s acting chops, but stay in it for the temptation of Joe.

After killing his best friend, Mac runs away to a sweaty temple in order to get a haircut and learn no discernible lessons. Meanwhile, the ancient Zoroastrian demon he abandoned appears to have done nothing and harmed no one in his absence. Mac then returns to exploit his friendship with Joe and resume his fight with Ahriman, which now involves resurrected grad students for some reason. The Rewatchers breakdown Ahriman's pointless schemes, wonder what happened to Methos, and can't believe Joe puts up with Mac's BS.

The Rewatchers take a moment before beginning their coverage of Season 6 to remember the late Stan Kirsch. Please tune in to remember this pillar of the Highlander community.

Big Finish 2-4 The Promise by Highlander Rewatched

Anyone else have a sense of Deja Vu? Caspian used to be a hero, but killing an evil Neanderthal warlord and undergoing a botched trepanation drives him insane. When Didgeridoo gets his hands on Caspian, he cures him of his madness only to... (sigh) make him crazy again. The Rewatchers yell about this insipid revenge plan, wonder how Caspian became “Famine,” and play their new favorite game.

Silas awakes in a room with no memory and a box of journals describing gross experiments intended to cure him of being a dumb dumb. Naturally, Didgeridoo and his magic head drill are responsible. The Rewatchers can’t figure out who Silas is supposed to be, how a sharp chair leg acted as an impromptu head drill, or why they are suffering through another M.E.L.T minute.
