Has there ever been a time in your life when things suddenly changed? The reality is that there are 1000 ways where your circumstances in life can suddenly change. How are you going to handle it when it happens?

Scripture: Luke 5:37-42, Who loves football season? Ever dreamed of being recruited by a top college team or by the NFL? Every Rabbi 2000 years ago recruited just like the NFL. They looked for children who were "spiritual athletes" that studied hard and dressed the part to follow them around. Jesus changed all that with a simple command; "Follow Me".

Have you been anywhere that was hard to get into, that required special access or credentials? Perhaps the White House, a courthouse, or back stage for a concert or event? The most important place you will ever get in that requires a special access is the presence of God. What kind of access do you need? Prayer.

Can any good news come out of the Middle East? While Islam is involved in 60-70 wars, there is some good news. The International Mission Board released statistics that the fastest growing church per capita in the world, is in the Middle East. In fact, more Muslims have come to faith in the last 10 years than the last 14 centuries of Islam.

It's been proven that mothers provide a sense of comfort and security to their children. How our mothers treat us in our early days actually effects how we as children view the world around us. If our mother's relationship to us affects our relationship to other people, how important is the model of a Godly mother when it comes to our relationship to God?
