Scripture: John 19:1-30, What one thing symbolizes the Christian faith more than any other symbol in the world? People see and recognize the cross everywhere. What does the cross mean to you?

Scripture: John 17:14-18, How powerful are the words "I'm praying for you"? Those are powerful words, especially if they are spoken by someone who really understands the power of prayer like your pastor. However, the Bible says that Jesus Himself ever lives to make intercession for you. The question is not whether Jesus is praying for you but what is Jesus praying for you?

Scripture: Phillipians 4:4-13, Are you content? Content with your career? With your home life? With your relationships? Learn the secret to being content.

Scripture: John 16:7-15, Has anyone ever come to your rescue? Sometimes you just need somebody to help you out. On the last night of His life, Jesus told the Disciples, "I'm going away, but I'm not going to leave you alone. I'm going to send you some help". That same power Jesus sent the Apostles, is also ready to help you in your time of need.

Scripture: Luke 9:28-36, We seek to be on a spiritual mountaintop. It's when our ordinary lives intersect with a God moment. It could be that time when you threw your hands up and told God, "whatever it takes, use me." For Peter, James and John, Luke Chapter 9 describes a spiritual mountaintop moment that would not only change their lives, but would change the world forever.

Scripture: John 15:4, Have you ever had a bad boss? One that was a terrible leader and difficult to work with? Now imagine just the opposite, the greatest leader that ever lived, the Lord Jesus Christ. No person in history has had more people volunteer to follow Him than Jesus Christ. Jesus said that your eternal destiny and your answer to prayers are bound up by your relationship to Him. Are you abiding in Christ?

Scripture: Matthew 5:23, Some people live their entire lives trying to avoid conflict. However, regardless of who you are, at some point in your life, conflict will find you. How did Jesus deal with conflict and how should you?

Scripture: Acts 12:1-16, Do you believe that God can use the prayers of a church to accomplish His plans for a city? There is example after example throughout the past 2000 years that show when churches pray, miracles happen.

Are you ever fooled by anything that appears real but it turns out that its not? An example might be the special effects in movies. But when it comes to our spiritual life, we only want what is real. When Jesus was born 200 0 years ago, some people went to worship him with a pure heart but other people's motives were not. Christmas should always be about the authentic worship of our Savior Jesus Christ.

Have you ever been around someone who just didn't seem there at all? Like they were detached or had other things on their mind? On the flip side, how good does it make you feel when you are with someone special, whether your spouse, your mother or best friend? Just being in their presence makes everything better doesn't it? In our spiritual lives, the same thing is true. We need that close spiritual relationship with God. Each one of us needs the presence of God.

We love to see windows of opportunity open up in unlikely places for unlikely people. Whether your favorite singer on American Idol or the underdog player of your favorite sport. More importantly, each one of us has the ability to open windows of opportunity for others. Not fame or fortune, but something much longer lasting. Eternal salvation.

Scripture: Ephesians 4:11-13, Do you believe that God wants to use you to do something for Him? Yes, God wants to use you if you are available. God is not interested in your ability or inability but in your availability.

Scripture: Thessalonians 5:18, Can you be thankful even when things go wrong? There is no Christian witness in only be thankful when things go your way. Why should you be thankful when you don't feel like it? Because God calls Christians to live grateful lives.
