824 Book Reflection - The Pema Chodron Audio Collection
30/08/2019 Duração: 08minThe Pema Chodron Audio Collection Written and narrated by Leigh Martinuzzi Pema Chodron is an American Tibetan Buddhist, author of many books and audiobooks, and perhaps one of the West’s most favourite Buddhist teachers. In this audiobook narrated by Pema Chodron herself, she shares three of her most popular teachings including Pure Meditation, Good Medicine and From Fear to Fearlessness. What I love about Buddhist teaching especially when delivered with such grace, love and good intent as Pema Chodron does, is that it doesn’t matter whether you’re a newbie or well-rehearsed it is easy to understand and take away the deep benefits found in this ancient wisdom. It’s easy to get taken in, as Pema Chodron speaks so calmly and with so much clarity on topics that will not only inspire you but at the same time deliver you a sense of peace and hope.

821 Podcast Reflection - TED Talks Daily
30/08/2019 Duração: 06minTED Talks Daily I've been listing to this podcast for some time now so it's about time I did a quick reflection. My take on TED talks - they rock. You can definitely over-consume TED talks and the reason I believe is that they are short, inspiring, education and therefore a tad addictive. Actually, I use to have more time to watch one of the TED talk videos each day but recently not so much which is a damn shame. Thankfully, TED Talks Daily fills the void. Want TED Talks on the go? Every weekday, this feed brings you our latest talks in audio format. Hear thought-provoking ideas on every subject imaginable -- from Artificial Intelligence to Zoology, and everything in between -- given by the world's leading thinkers and doers. This collection of talks, given at TED and TEDx conferences around the globe, is also available in video format.
