  • Season 12: Episode 102: That Sinister Franchise Episode!

    13/03/2026 Duração: 02h14min

Originally Recorded on Thursday March 5th and Wednesday March 11th, 2026 Hola, fans! That Horror Show Podcast brings you another double-feature horror film review to pound your eardrums with delight. Show hosts Timothy Kazda and Chris Koenig take a gander at two early movies from Blumhouse Productions that managed to be box office hits. First movie on the docket is "Sinister" (2012), in which a desperate true crime writer, with the help of a Deputy "So-and-So", tries to unravel a bunch of unsolved murders that might have something to do with an evil deity named Bughuul. And the second movie is...well, the second movie "Sinister 2" (2015) as Ex-Deputy "So-and-So" is left all by his lonesome to combat the deity once-and-for-all. How do these two movies hold up? Well, ya' gotta listen to find out. And that's not all! Nate has revamped his original 'Kids Corner' moniker to the brand-new, possibly temporary title 'Nate's Corner' and reviews the original "Child's Play" (1988).

  • Season 12: Episode 101: That Valentine's Day Episode Part V: Beauty in in the Eye of the Beholder!

Recorded Saturday February 6th, 2026 Happy Valentine's Day, fans! That Horror Show Podcast brings you an episode full of red roses, love, romance, and...wait for it!...MURDER!!!! Oh, plus some chocolate hearts too...eh, maybe. Your special romantic hosts Timothy Kazda and Chris Koenig exchange kisses for the Valentine's Day-themed horror movie "Heart Eyes" (2025), in which love is literally murder as a serial killer targets lovey-dovey characters on this special holiday and it's up to two lovebirds to put an end to the killer's wrath. Does this movie win the hearts of the two hosts? Well, you know what to do...and if you don't, well just click that 'play' button and give this episode a little listen. But wait, that's not all: none other than Nate from 'Kids Corner' gives his little take on the movie "Deadstream" (2022). It's a Valentine's Day episode you don't want to miss!

  • Season 12: Episode 100: That SEVRPOD Reunion Episode!

    30/01/2026 Duração: 02h19min

Recorded on Thursday January 22nd, 2026 Happy 2026, fans! That Horror Show Podcast brings you their 100th Episode! Yep, that's right: this is Episode 100, and show hosts Timothy Kazda and Chris Koenig have wondered how they managed to make it that far with no monetary compensation, ever since their very first episode aired in - checks notes - yes, 2015! For this episode, Tim and Chris have decided to forego any reviews and dedicate this to their humble beginnings.  Way-back in 2013, before That Horror Show Podcast existed, there was The Super Evil Vampire Robot Podcast of Doom, or SEVRPOD. And before it was just two dudes hosting THSP, on SEVRPOD it was five dudes. But the mission was the same: review horror movies and have a few laughs. But SEVRPOD would eventually disband, with the various hosts branching off to forge their own paths, while the old episodes have disappeared into the ether.    And so, for this special episode, Tim and Chris have managed to bring the whole gang back together to take a walk d

  • Season 11: Episode 99: That Christmas Bloody Christmas Episode!

    23/12/2025 Duração: 56min

Originally Recorded Wednesday December 10th, 2025 Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays, fans! That Horror Show Podcast ends 2025 with a Christmas-themed horror movie review episode that will bring joy to the world...or, is that 'terror' to the world? Eh, whatever works best on this special holiday. Your hosts Timothy Kazda and Chris Koenig have set up the Christmas tree, laid out the presents, hung the mistletoe, and have prepared a lavish feast in order to get through their review segment. And yes, Tim and Chris have checked their Christmas stocking to see what movie jolly ol' Saint Nick has brought them. Well, it's a doozy called "Christmas Bloody Christmas" (2022), a heartwarming movie for the whole family in which a mechanical Santa Claus goes haywire, and proceeds to bring some Christmas cheer by murdering anybody, 'Terminator'-style, that gets in it's way! Did we say this movie was for the family audience? Well, you can ignore that claim...BUT, don't ignore this episode. But wait: there is more! Yes, lis

  • Season 11: Episode 98: That When Animals Attack Episode!

Originally Recorded on Monday December 1st and Wednesday December 3rd, 2025 Seasons Greetings, fans! Timothy Kazda and Chris Koenig of That Horror Show Podcast bring you another new episode to tickle your eardrums with delight. Christmas season is upon us, but the show hosts have reviewed two movies that are anything but "Christmas related". If any, the theme of this episode involves animals-on-the-loose! The first movie on the docket is none other than "Cujo" (1983), the cinematic adaptation of the Stephen King novel which presents this concept: take the classic Disney film "Old Yeller" and infuse it with a bite from a rabid bat, all the while 'Who Let the Dogs Out' (yes, we know: the one-hit wonder song is from 2000, but the description fits, damn it!) plays in the background as people are mauled to death by a murderous canine thirsty for human blood...and, if that isn't enough, Dee Wallace has to contend with her panicky son in a beat up Ford Pinto. Yes, fun for the whole family! After that, the hosts tac

Recorded on Tuesday November 25th, 2025   Hola, loyal fans! That Horror Show Podcast brings you their annual Thanksgiving-themed horror episode for this year. Your lovable hosts Timothy Kazda and Chris Koenig have once again set the table with a beautiful turkey dinner to go along with their review of the movie "Derelicts" (2017), a tender holiday tale of a loving family (ha!) invaded by a bunch of nutty psychopaths with murder on the brain! But wait, that's not all! Joining in on the Thanksgiving festivities is the one-and-only Davide Rodrigo...oops, we meant Dave Rodriguez, who brings the funny with his special synopsis of the movie that will tickle your funny bone with delight...or, perhaps make you want to send the hosts some hateful email. Either way, it's all good. So grab a turkey leg, pile on plenty of mashed potatoes and gravy, gorge enough cranberry sauce to fill your gullet until it explodes and give this episode a spin.

And after wiping the projectile vomit off of themselves, the hosts check out "Late Night With the Devil" (2023) in which a thought-to-be-lost late night "live" TV broadcast from the late 1970s gives you an up-close-and-personal look at demonic possession, all in the name of fame! The hosts venture to the local Starlite drive-in to check out two 50s sci-fi/horror classics. First, the guys check out "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" (1956) and discover 'pod people' is a lot more than just a derogatory term to describe a zombified office worker! And then, for the second feature, it's "I Married a Monster From Outer Space" (1958) which reveals that the union between an Earth-woman and an alien does not result in marital bliss! Show hosts Timothy Kazda and Chris Koenig finally give their take on the last two films and they are really something. First film on the docket for review is "Hellish Flesh" (1977), which could be easily described as a bizarre horror/thriller that is and is not a Coffin Joe vehicle. And after that, the hosts tackle "Hallucinations of a Deranged Mind" (1978), aka 'Coffin Joe Stock Footage Film Festival', in which new material is stitched with old to make a complete movie with hallucinogenic results and dime-store pop psychology! And yes, Nate from 'Kids Corner' gives his take on the Wes Craven horror classic "A Nightmare on Elm Street" (1984)!   #coffinjoe #robertenglund #Hellishflesh #freddykruger  #THSP  E-mail: thathorrorshowpodcast@gmail.com  Facebook: www.facebook.com/thathorrorshowpodcast Instagram: Tim@thathorrorshowposcas

First up is "The Bloody Exorcism of Coffin Joe" (1974), which features director Jose Mojica Marins playing himself battling against his cinematic alter ego, WWExorcist-style! After that it's "The Strange Hostel of Naked Pleasures" (1976) as Coffin Joe portrays the ultimate embodiment of evil: a manager who stands behind a desk and welcomes clueless patrons into his nondescript hostel! Hey, Eli Roth it isn't, but so what? And lest we not forget, Nate from 'Kids Corner' jumps in to give his own review for "Halloween 3: Season of the Witch" (1982).

  • Season 11: Episode 91: That Return of Coffin Joe Part 1!

    21/02/2025 Duração: 02h04min

Originally Recorded on Sunday January 26th, 2025, and Sunday February 2nd, 2025. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! Hey there, fans! That Horror Show Podcast embraces the new year with a brand-new episode featuring the return of Brazilian filmmaker Jose Mojica Marins' iconic character Coffin Joe (or 'Ze do Caixao' in his native Portuguese language). Show hosts Timothy Kazda and Chris Koenig reviewed three official Coffin Joe movies back in 2017 (memories!) and thought that was the end of the long-fingernailed, top hat-black wardrobe wearing coffin maker-turned-evil madman. But, as fate would have it, Coffin Joe showed up in a few "unofficial" movies, so it was inevitable the hosts would tackle them for review. So, for Part 1 of this episode: Coffin Joe goes 'Crypt Keeper' in "The Strange World of Coffin Joe" (1968) featuring three tales of bizarre terror, while "The Awakening of the Beast" (1969) is a "shockumentary"-type feature in which Brazilian society is going down the tubes and it all in some drug-induced way involves

And the movie under review is "It's a Wonderful Life", the Frank Capra holiday classic featuring the great James Stewart and...oh, wait, sorry about that: the movie under review is actually called "It's a Wonderful Knife" (2023), which inverts the Frank Capra film into a holiday-themed slasher horror movie!
