Melanie Ho, author of BEYOND LEANING IN: Gender Equity and What Organizations are Up Against, sits down with Rachel and Felicia to discuss the cumulative and ripple effects of discrimination against women in the workplace. The novel offers unique insights in a fictionalized (but very familiar) office as men and women try (and often fail) to create an equitable and supportive workplace. Rachel and Felicia also discuss the app Clubhouse, and look back at their own early career experiences.

Edie Stringfellow is the Director of Diversity & Inclusion at MassBio, an organization dedicated to advancing Massachusett's leadership in the life sciences to grow the industry, add value to the healthcare system, and improve patient lives. Karina Popovich is a first year student at Cornell, but that barely defines her, as she's also a serial entrepreneur (read, problem solver). She is a self-defined maker who is currently bringing together a community of other makers to create 3D printed face shields for health care workers on the front lines of the coronavirus crisis. An avid lover of STEM, she has built a company called Wear Alpha, a 3D printed clothing company, and a nonprofit called Connect with Tech, which introduces STEM to underrepresented communities.
