“Since man ceases not to be sinful, it is a great blessing that Jehovah ceases not to be merciful.” - Spurgeon Psalm 105:5 says, “Remember the wondrous works that he has done…”. Psalm 106:7 says they “did not consider [his] wondrous works; they did not remember the abundance of [his] steadfast love”. Psalm 105 celebrates how God delivered His people, provided for them, and was faithful to them. Psalm 106 remembers the flip side of it, how Israel rebelled, grumbled, & turned away from God. Psalm 105 magnifies God’s goodness. Psalm 106 reveals men’s sinfulness. 1.
