What you think when you look up at the sky tells a lot about what you believe about God. According to this psalm, the purpose of nature is clear and specific: to point us to God, not away from Him. The Words of God have an effect on us that is better than the effects of anything else we can watch or read or study or listen to. The things that are most important to so many of us are actually less important than the Word of God. Christian: cherish His Word. In doing so, there is great reward.
