This short and simple statement from John sums up something that all of creation had been waiting for, longing and yearning for – the coming of the Messiah. Jesus Christ has come so that everyone who believes in Him knows the Father. Everyone who is found in Jesus is simultaneously found in the Father. Knowing God means being in God; being in God means being in Christ.
