This week I talk about the impact Tenovus Cancer Care’s fundraising groups have on the charity and our ability to support people affected by cancer. I had the pleasure of hosting an event for our Aberdare fundraising group, Hymns & Pimms. It was a lovely event making me think back to my time in primary school singing hymns in assembly. We also had a guest singer from the local school, Keira who gave a brilliant rendition of Pie Jesus. I love hosting events and have been getting plenty of experience in this last 12 months. That event raised £308 for the charity - not bad for 2 hours work!
