Hellotomdyer

I was asked by a friend to give my point of view of what a sense of belonging means to me in a work context. This beautifully linked to a quote in a play that I saw last week, Art, by Yasmina Reza. (Paraphrased) “If I am who I am because I am who I am, then I am who I am. However, if I am who I am because you are who you are then I am not who I am.” This linked me to conversations I’ve had about expectation v reality and how living life striving for things and titles may actually not be beneficial to us. Living by values is beneficial to us. There’s a lot to condense into 10 minutes but I hope you find it informative.
