This week I fell victim of a lack of patience. I got quite selfish and believed that everything should be easy. All because I stood out of my comfort zone and got knocked back at the first attempt. This is what we do when things get hard. We sit back and we think, “well, that was a nice idea but it obviously wasn’t for me. I’ll go back to my comfortable ways and watch others learn and train and do the thing I want to do.” I forgot that after the initial upset of not getting something, the next step is to always look at what are we going to do about it? Are we going to sit back and do nothing about it? Or are we going to get back to work and knuckle down on the shortfall? Please don’t think I’m asking you to ignore your feelings? Feel those feelings. Be disappointed or sad. But pick yourself back and go for the next one. Don’t dwell. And lastly, before I leave to your week. I need your help...
