In 2012, a couple psychopathic philosophers high off their own intellectual flatulence published a piece in the Journal of Medical Ethics called “After-Birth Abortion: Why Should The Baby Live?” The article was initially removed from the journal’s website after the harsh reaction against it. But to these “philosopher’s” credit, they were merely following the premises of progressivism to their most heinous and horrific conclusions. Ideas have consequences and bad ideas have victims. Texas passes their Heartbeat Bill which bans abortion when there is a detectable heartbeat, at six weeks. Amazingly, the Supreme Court just ruled 5-4 to allow the law to stand. The first bill of its kind, Texas’ Heartbeat Bill is saving lives, even while the state is not enforcing this law at all, providing a possible blueprint for other states to challenge Roe.
