Beat the Press devolved into a screaming match this weekend over impeachment talk. A big weekend for our local teams and our guy Brendan was on hand to witness the debut of Tacko Fall in the Celtics pre-season opener. And parking is finally free at the Encore Casino in Boston, and we’re just wondering what took so long. Have a good Monday everybody!

The Bruins opened their season on the road in Dallas with a win. But Joe and Brendan stayed up late to see the premiere of the film “Joker” and are eager to give their reviews. What a weekend, welcome back everyone. Joe Mathieu and the Early Edition crew are back after a legendary weekend for the weather - doesn’t get much better than that in Boston. Our growing Cape Cod shark problem just went national thanks to a feature on 60 Minutes. The Red Sox are officially done, a disappointing season for sure, and that could be Mookie Betts’ curtain call. And the Patriots struggled in Buffalo, but overcoming struggles makes Angry Dad feel happy.

The Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission is also voting on some key marijuana issues today including home delivery.
