Now that the tower of Jorgenfist has been cleared, the Warriors of Light begin to explore the remaining locations.  After finding a concealed library, the gang learns of Dominant Weapons, the mysterous plane of Leng, and of the Runelord of Greed: Karzoug.  Later, those not wise enough to escape the valley of the black tower find themselves with a group of murder-hobo adventurers walking to their door.  Harper knows of ancient machines.  Null speaks robot.  Reetin takes a nap.  Tev seeks to eradicate the Leng Spider. The team reaps the rewards of the Fallen Mokmurian, rest up to reflect on the experiences they've had, and with the help of Konna the Wise bring a resolution to the giant tribes infesting the valley of the black tower.  Jorgenfist is now empty of it's giant threat, but the dangers are far from removed.  With their new found experience, will they be able to challenge the remaining threats and keep the land safe?  Tune in now! Welcome back to another episode of Rise of the Runelords!  This week, our adventurers take the advice given to them by the Giant Chieftan Konna the Wise and head to the library hidden beneath Jorgenfist.  While the party splits up to scout ahead, one finds a librarian who doesn't seem to mind making a little bit of noise.  The walls seem to bend and swivel this week - will our heroes find themselves felled while nauseated?  The party decides to trek forward at the exact same time.  Harper retches invisibly.  Null is happily a robot.  Reetin just hits things. The tides of battle begin to turn as our heroes systematically route their foes.  When our heroes appear to begin winning their battle, a new ally appear from the shadows to provide assistance.  After the chaos of battle subsides, this new friend informs the party as to their perspective of recent events within the Black Tower.  Harper gets a head start on the healing.  Marionette delights in exotic forms of death.  Null wonders what it feels like to be born.  Reetin wants an undead Dragon.  Tev reaps the whirlwind. As if the Ogres and the Lamia twins weren't enough of a problem for our heroes, two red dragons have now been added into the fight.  Breath attacks, foul magics and the return of an enemy encountered once before makes this fight amongst the toughest that the Warriors of Light have dealt with thus far.  Will our heroes make it out scorched, pulped and magically wounded?  Or will Reetin step in and ruin the plans of our foes once again?  Tune in to find out!  Harper practices combat Kancho.  Null regains mandatory hit points.  Reetin is large and in charge.  Tev calls down the thunder. After defeating the troll twins, the remainder of this areas threats seem interested in halting our heroes' siege.  The eerie symbol of a three-eyed Jackal overlooks the warriors of light as they defeat foes they've faced before - Lamia monsters.  Harper doesn't take kindly to Negative Energy.  Null wants to cast a spell.  Reetin misses Seres.  Tev scars herself. Following a massive battle in the caverns below Jorgenfist, our heroes retreat to lick their wounds and bury their recently deceased... again.  It is at that time that a new stranger appears to offer their support to the party.  How very convenient.  After divine echoes promise that the Warriors of Light will bring much death, the mysterious stranger is interested in traveling with our heroes.  Ever cautiously, our heroes accept the strangers help and continue to progress.  Reetin is very good at swinging this sword.  Null downloads and installs updates.  Tev wakes up from her nap. Things go from bad to worse for our heroes - the explosion from the necklace of fireballs in the caves appears to have stirred the hive of giants above, who now come rushing into the underbelly of Jorgenfist to investigate the ruckus.   Reetin is like a dog - only prettier.  Tev draws aggro.  Harper corrects the DM.  Null gets a lot of crits. The team rests in a side cavern after defeating a band of redcaps that were nestled deep under Jorgenfist.  After rejuvenating their wounds, and leveling up the barbarian, the team is back on the trail to take down the giants responsible for the siege on Sandpoint.  When a shimmering bauble catches the attention of the party, our heroes will need to hunker down and survive an explosive escalation of force.  Reetin wonders why it is that they tend to attract the crazy people.  Null speaks the language of it's people.  Harper breaks her mage spine.  Tev is copying Nulls stats. After defeating the large, festering necrotic husks that were the Deathwebs, the warriors of light take a moment to rejuvinate their vitality and tighten their bolts... or whatever the mechanical equivalent of healing would appropriately be.  Our heroes kill the time by discussing everything from past heroes to fantastic magics to natural biology.  Reetin thinks he knows how Half-Orcs are made.  Tev is all the flankables.  Harper is not interested in asking questions.  Null is not interested in your pity experience.
