What can we say about the legendary Dave Mustaine that hasn't already been said? Love him or hate him without Megadeth music would be drastically different. With their 16th studio album due out next week it's time to catch up with Dave and talk all things Megadeth.

Frank Bello is the bassist for the legendary Anthrax who are on tour right now celebrating their 40th anniversary. In 1981 the world first heard of the New York thrash metal band Anthrax. It was 1985's 'Spreading the Disease' that put them on the map and they haven't looked back. They have overcome trends and band changes to be here today. When famed Ozzy guitarist Zakk Wylde started Black Label Society and one of the first calls Zakk made to start the band was to his friend JD to handle bass duties. After leaving the band for a bit in the early 2000's, he's been back since. Add in the band Hatebreed and you have one hell of a tour.

It might be hard to believe, but the band Greta Van Fleet have truly created something special. Who would have thought that a little band from nowhere, Michigan would take over the rock universe like this? Sold out shows, number one hits, and a fan base that is absolutely rabid for them. Their concerts are a like a spiritual gathering of opened minded happy people who just want to feel the music hit their souls. I spent some time with the band on their recent tour stop in my hometown of Green Bay, WI, and had a conversation with bassist Sam Kiszka about their fan base, the music, the world they've created and yes even new music and what it might sound like.

With I prevail announcing their new album 'True Power' and releasing two incredible new songs it's time to catch up with our old friend Eric Vanlerberghe of the band I Prevail.

Boston Manor just announced their 3rd album 'Datura' due out this October and released two new songs. They come from Blackpool, England and have been grinding it out in the scene since 2015. One of the better new bands out there we go in on the new tunes, traveling around the world and home buying with lead singer Henry Cox.

Pop Evil over the course of almost 20 years (yes 20 years!) has seen a couple of line-up changes, popular style of music changes and yet they have never wavered about who they are. Pop Evil are a hard rock band that likes to incorporate pop stylings into hard rock jams. Whether as a standard drum, bass, and guitar style rock band or the much more aggressive band they are today, they are also good for a couple of top 10 rock songs and a fantastic night at the local concert venue. Leigh and I's history goes back a long way and now with yet another top 10 rock single out, plus a new bassist it's definitely time to catch up. Better yet Leigh checks in with us backstage at my home town venue called Epic Even Center during rehearsals for their new tour.

George Pendergast is the original drummer for the popular 90's alt-rock band Dishwalla. They had numerous top songs like "Counting Blue Cars" and "Charlie Brown's Parents" before disbanding after the turn of the century. Back with new music, George walks us through the journey that is Dishwalla.

Eva Maria is the lead singer of the rock band Eva Under Fire. The band in the past couple of years has really begun to win over fans worldwide with their very hard-driving songs and vocals on par with anyone. Their latest single "Blow" features Spencer from Ice Nine Kills and starting to rocket up the mainstream rock charts. On top of that they recently put out a cover of the Journey song "Seperate Ways" that will blow your mind. With a new album coming out this fall and a tour that just kicked off that has them opening for Asking Alexandria, Nothing More and Atreyu it's definitely time we meet. Oh and she's also a licensed therapist with a Master's degree in psychotherapy.

Shane Told is the lead singer of the band Silverstein. A band that has been around since the year 2000 and while that may surprise some people, their extremely dedicated and hardcore fanbase will probably be like, "psh where have you been?" With the release of their 10th studio album 'Misery Made Me' it seems like they are finally posed to play in the mainstream. The beauty is they've gotten here by doing it their own way and sticking to what they do best.

Mastodon is a band that's on it's 22nd year of existence and has done nothing but turned heads along the way. Their latest album is called 'Hushed and Grim' and in a day and age where everyone is listening to singles and supposedly doesn't care about albums, they released a double album. Now that it's been out for a while and to celebrate the release of their latest single from it "Peach and Tranquility" we catch up with drummer/singer Brann Dailor.

On the day that Halestorm's awaited new album 'Back From the Dead' has been released I'm excited for this conversation. Lzzy Hale as the amazing frontwoman of Halestrom has been a trailblazer since their self-titled release debut in 2009. The pandemic though threw a wrench in the fire for most of us, even giant rockstars like Lzzy Hale. (This conversation was prerecorded a couple of weeks before the album's release.)

Blues-rock guitarist Kenny Wayne Shepherd released his debut album when he was a teenager. Then at the old age of 18, he wrote and recorded one of rock's best albums 'Trouble Is' featuring the megahit song "Blue on Black." That was 25 years ago and now Kenny is out on the road playing that album in its entirety and celebrating its anniversary. We relive the album that made him a household name in the world of blues and rock, plus talks about the blue influence on other genres of music and we talk about cars too, cause well, it's us.

The leader, the frontman, the songwriter, the mastermind, and whatever other titles you can come up with all describe this week's guest. He is Tobias Forge, but better known as Papa from the band Ghost. Their new album 'Impera' is out now and features guitar work from Fredrick Akesson of the band Opeth. Chris Jericho may already be a legend in the world of wrestling. From ECW to WCW to WWE and now one of the main players in the world of AEW. As time goes Chris is starting to become a legend in the world of hard rock as well. Fozzy started their career as a band 20 years ago playing covers, but Chris and his guitar partner Rich Ward quickly solidified themselves as the real deal. Now with a few top 10 singles under their belt, they have just released their best album yet in 'Boombox.' We catch up with Chris about the band, the album, the success and some fun stories along the way. ***This conversation originally took place on my morning show The Rick and Cutter show on WAPL the day after a very amazing Fozzy show***

Jay Weinberg comes from a lineage of drummers. His dad Max was the drummer for Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, plus he played drums for Conon O'Brien's various late-night talk shows. Now that's just the introduction. Jay has been in the rock scene blazing his own path for years. About 8 years ago that path brought him to Des Moines, IA to become the drummer in Slipknot. Could anything prepare him for that? Let's find out.

Nita Strauss has spent the past almost decade playing guitar for Alice Cooper, that's a great gig. Well, she also has one of the most anticipated rock albums of 2022 coming out later this year. It'll be her second solo album and this is the first to feature singers. Her first song out was with David Draiman of Disturbed called "Dead Inside" and it gave her her first number one rock song. The first time a solo female has done so in almost 30 years. Oh and she plays guitar for LA Rams home games, and has a fitness brand. She's an incredible human being who just so happens to be one of the most talented guitarists in the world.

The man at this point should need no introduction, but we shall anyway. Munky is one of the founding members and guitarist in the (can we say legendary?) band, Korn. His real name is James Shaffer and he like most of us had a tough time at the beginning of the pandemic. Like every good artist, he took those issues and turned them into art. Last year at the heart of the lockdowns himself and his bandmates self-funded a new album. With that it's time we once again catch up with Munky from Korn.
