Another day, another broken story on the show. NFL Network insider Tom Pelissero reports “The Seahawks are releasing three-time Pro Bowl safeties Jamal Adams and Quandre Diggs, per sources. The moves save $27.5 million in cash and significant cap space for Seattle, which will look a lot different in the Mike Macdonald era.” John Canzano is back for his weekly visit to talk a little breaking news regarding the Seahawks, and we get to college sports. We pivot back to Jamal and the news of the Seahawks cutting ties w/ him.

Puck let Jim and Kidd he would be late due to an accident, you’d think Jim would grab the mic by the horns and be ready to go, but no, Jim instead was chatting w/ Bucky and Kidd had to get him to let him know the show has started. The Denver Broncos announced Monday that they’re releasing Russell Wilson, will Russ get another chance in the league, he sees himself as a top QB in the NFL, but it appears his run might be over. Is it fair that some people want him to struggle and see his downfall? Puck shares how he will remember Wilson, opposed to how others will view him.

Brandon Roy is the head coach of the Garfield Bulldogs basketball team, and they were playing at the Tacoma Dome for State hoops. The Washington State Cougs were taking on the USC Trojans and man was it a close one. Puck and Jim react to freshman Isaiah Watts as he came up clutch and had 18 points as the Cougs beat USC. While it was a fun game, it was miserable to watch. The good news is Matt Brash will not need surgery due to “medial elbow inflammation and can start playing catch on Tuesday. He likely won’t be ready for Opening Day but it’s still a positive development since news from earlier this week indicated that missing the entire season was a possibility.”
