Cliches are something we all fall into now and again, in fact a huge amount of my content has become filled with cliches I say over and over again

As a business do you consume or produce more content? For many of us I'm sure we probably consume far more content than we produce and it really should be the other way around. So it’s #informationoverloadday something many of us suffer from, especially on social media. The thing is, this begs the question, how do I make sure I’m heard on social media when it’s such a cannibalised market place. So many brands are put off by the fact that they’re not seen or heard on social media content they put out. The thing is, how creatively are you shouting in a room full of people shouting? It's "old farmers day", and if there's one thing i've learnt is that many people who've been in their jobs for a long time are far more reluctant to accept any use of social media, usually because they simply don't like it.....the thing is traditional marketing, as much as it has it's place just isn't as powerful as social media, and the sooner brands and businesses understand this no matter how reluctant management are the better. On #worldbullypreventionday I had to chat about trolls and how I deal with them in my day to day content. There’s a few things to remember about trolls 1. The algorithm sees them as interaction on your content. 2. Imagine how bad their day is going to feel the need to troll your content 3. So it's #internationalpodcastday so I've got to ask the question, do you have a podcast yet? Look, this isn't going to sit well with a few people I know but having the perfect podcast at the start isn't always important, the value you give within your content is. You can improve soundproofing, microphones, audio quality and editing etc. as you get to a stage where you've got the money to do these things, but right now if you're creating video content you essentially have a podcast already. That's right, your video can also become a podcast, literally by stripping off the audio as a high quality MP3. It's lovely to have the bells and whistles, don't get me wrong. If you've got the money you should be coming to someone like me or Neale Veglio to get your content edited for you, but if you don't, if you're not communicating, nobody can hear the value you've got to give.....also the great thing about a podcast is....you can speak without anyone seeing you and still turn that spoken file into a video piece of c
