We were having a convo the other day before recording this podcast. One of the things that stood out was the distinction between momentum for entrepreneurs vs. momentum for married entrepreneurs.  There IS a difference. It’s really easy to envision what ‘Harvest’ season looks like. In fact, when we speak with other couples about their vision, their eyes light up and big smiles come across their faces. While we were having one of our legacy meetings the other morning, the conversation took a turn (which it does at times). I (Sway) knew from experience that we are in the middle of a ‘liquid gold’ conversation. I remember our wedding cake...we’ll the bridal cake is what I’m referring to specifically. It was delicately draped in white fondant designs with fresh red strawberries to add a pop of color. There were three circular layers of tiers, largest to smallest from the bottom up. At the top of our cake stood a figurine of a chocolate couple (that was us!) We started from a BIG FAT ZERO we started podcasting. We were encouraged by one of our coaches to create content on an evergreen platform. So we did and are so glad about it! Celebrate with us today as we hit 200 episodes and Lord knows we’ve learned a TON of lessons.  

Neither one of us grew up understanding the importance of rest. In fact, we were praised for working hard and going hard (which DOES merit its own celebrations). However, when the balances aren’t equal, we get out of balance.  How many times have you ‘fought’ for work/life balance only to find that it constantly eludes you? We get it.  Work/Life balance may not be a perfect blend of everything in your life (which may or may not exist- but that’s for another episode).
