So... Bill Clinton and novelist James Patterson co-wrote a fictional book together and it's based on fictional events in the White House.  Everyone thought it would be a great idea if Clinton and Patterson went on TV to promote it.  Problem is, no one gives a crap about fictitious events. For the first time ever, interviewers starting asking Bill Clinton real questions about his conduct with a certain intern in light of the #MeToo scandal and Clinton didn't react very well. We discussed Clinton's behavior, then and now!

We have questions. President Trump's Justice Department has agreed to the mega-merger between Bayer and Monsanto. Is this a throwback to the cozy, incestuous relationship that the Obama administration has with Monsanto? What are Monsanto's "Suicide Seeds" and are they dangerous to humans? We already know that Senator Roy Blount from Missouri (who has taken tons of cash from Monsanto and carries the water for them) is a close ally of the President. Is he using that friendship to help Monsanto? Is Monsanto one of the companies whose intellectual property is being stolen by the Chinese that Trump keeps talking about?

It's Friday... lots of news, news, news... and at the very end of the show Michael shares the most outrageous news story from the world of science, medicine... and the FEMALE BRAIN!

Has the INSANITY of Washington DC infected all of us? Is there anything left of American life that hassn't been corrupted by politics (either side) or political correctness? Elizabeth explores where we are today. We also discussed ABC's cancellation of the show Roseanne, and President's rousing speech in Nashville last night.

Elizabeth is BACK after dealing with a cold for almost a week.  Lots to talk about... an indignant President Trump... a 30 year old who is being evicted from his parents basement... cow flatulence... why are illegal undocumented aliens allowed to get drivers licenses... and there are some shenanigans going on inside the small dark closet next to a classroom in a small town near Orlando.  yep, another typical "Wacky Wednesday" on The Dougherty Report.

Elizabeth has the morning off and Michael is sitting on a bunch of stories that PROVE that the left in this country is hell-bent on destroying what's left of America.

Back after a couple of days off and Elizabeth comes out swinging. She takes out... (in nor particular order)  North Korea, Iran, Atty General Jeff Sessions, the United Nations and Robert Mueller's now clearly illegal investigation.  We also dug closely into the "Yanni" "Laurel" viral craze that's causing the internet to crash.  And to wrap up the show, how is it a very wealthy, multi-national real estate mogul, who has traveled around the world for decades, was able to wait until 2012 to get his birth certificate?  Something just doesn't seem right.

Elizabeth is taking the morning off... Michael has a recap of the President Trump's visit to Elkhart, Indiana... how CNN completely overlooks this president's accomplishments and STILL continues to credit the former POTUS for the rebirth of the economy... and that festering sore of whiny liberals called "The View" tried to discuss enhanced interrogation techniques with very bad results.

A bit bleary-eyed this morning... Elizabeth and Michael watched as President Trump welcomed the three former hostages from North Korea.  We also spoke about Stormy Daniels' attorney and how he has taken over the media.  (Seems the only show he has NOT appeared on is Sesame Street.)  Also a discussion regarding Gina Haspel's confirmation hearings.

So... John Kerry is sulking this morning and Barack Obama's fingers are worn out from that hideously LONG, BORING diatribe that he sent out regarding his now defunct deal with Iran.  Meanwhile, the deal-making President Trump is challenging Iran to come back to the table and deal with the US on OUR terms.  We also covered; the earthquakes/volcanoes in Hawaii, the Mormons walking away from the Boy Scouts and the three former North Korean captives who will meet with President Trump tomorrow morning!

The One Where It Sounds Like Michael is in a Cave:  So last Friday morning as the show was about to begin, we were hacked.  Not the first time and it won't be the last but it is a huge inconvenience.  This time it was a bit more serious and they damaged audio equipment.  WE WILL NOT BE BEATEN... so while engineers fixed the damage, we plowed ahead with the show.  It was a typical Monday show with a lot of follow up commentary about the Mueller courtroom drama from last Friday and of course we watched all the mind numbing weekend talk shows.

It's Michael's birthday... and in the back of his mind the lyrics of a Bellamy Brothers song ring true. After a couple of days away, Elizabeth has a lot of pent up news stories and she was about to burst!

Why is there a double standard in this country when it comes to justice?  Lady Justice is depicted as wearing a blindfold representing impartiality, the ideal that justice should be applied without regard to wealth, power, or other status.  Yet if you're a conservative, it seems there IS NO justice anymore!  Later in the show we are joined by hospital consultant extraordinaire John D'Alesandro to talk about how hospitals disrespect your time.

From the moment Elizabeth sat down in the chair, odd things began happening in the studio today.  The Atomic Clock that's worked for years started displaying odd times.  The printer that was turned OFF came back to life and spewed an odd message. At one point, the dog looked up over Elizabeth's head and barked.  Add to that the odd story that the Syrian ambassador to the UN claims Genetically Modified human soldiers are at war in his country, the sad passing of Barbara Bush and wine-ing may have been to blame for Nancy Pelosi's whining.  Yep, a weird-day Wednesday!  

So liberal law professor Alan Dershowitz appeared on Sean Hannity's TV program last night and berated Sean for not disclosing that the host had spoken to Trump lawyer Michael Cohen about a real estate transaction.  We took a look at the list of the fine list of upstanding citizens Dershowitz represented during his career.  After Zuck's stunning revelation last week...
