  • 171: You Won't Feel Like Doing It - Do It Anyway. DO MORE.

    02/03/2018 Duração: 04min

Too many times, people think they need to feel like doing something in order to make progress. That is a complete fallacy. In fact, 95% of your growth will come in the moments when you don’t feel like doing anything. It’s the idea that you’re forcing your body to stay committed to the action as opposed to giving in to the way you feel about the action. When you do this, you are able to create muscle memory. And when you create consistency along with muscle memory, that’s when things begin to take flight. Listen to Teflon Don Positive Mindset - 109: Do It When You Don’t Feel Like Doing It and save both of these episodes to remind you when you don’t feel like doing it. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/beauthenticzone/support --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/beauthenticzone/support

  • 170: Problems? Attack Them

    01/03/2018 Duração: 04min

I used to hate problems. No you didn’t read that correctly. I USED TO HATE PROBLEMS!!! HATE. With a passion. I just wanted a day of no problems. An easy going day. I wanted many easy going days. Well that never happened. EVER. And I began to get discouraged in life. I began to think to myself that my lot in life was to suffer. I’m not kidding. Until I read The 10X Rule by Grant Cardone. Once I realized that problems were challenges that I needed to defeat, it was game on. I had a different approach. I started looking for problems and soon you know it, I began leveling up exponentially. Listen to this episode to understand why your problems are the challenges that you need to defeat. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/teflondon/support

  • 169: Invest the Right Energy

    28/02/2018 Duração: 04min

I used to invest energy into the wrong things. I was all about needing to feel comfortable in every moment of my life. That is until I read The 10X Rule by Grant Cardone. It woke me up from my comfortable stagnant state and turned me into a productive working beast!! In this episode, I tell you about the amount of energy I put into going out with my buddies to downtown Chicago and why that energy was the same as The 10X Rule. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/beauthenticzone/support --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/beauthenticzone/support

  • 119: It’s Time to Drastically Change Your Perspective

    28/02/2018 Duração: 04min

Your perspective can impact your thoughts everyday. It’s more important than you would think. I used to have a great attitude but often times my perspective was negative and thus would impact my approach to do things. What if you could change your perspective? What if you could simply change your thought process of how you perceived a situation from a different vantage point? It’s time to view your situation from a different vantage point to gain clarity, vision and insight. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/beauthenticzone/support --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/beauthenticzone/support

  • 120: Self-Development is an Everyday Thing

    28/02/2018 Duração: 04min

Before I began my entrepreneurial journey in October 2015, I used to think self-development was completely corny. I never sought after it. I didn’t develop myself. Why? ‘I’m not weak. That’s for weak people.’ That’s how I thought. Until I signed release papers from Schaumburg School District 54 and found myself out of a job. I wasn't winning in life and I wanted to know how the winners win. This is when I began to include self-development as a part of my daily routine. Listen to how my routine plays out in a day. It’s no accident that I’m where I am today and I attribute that to a solid self-development regimen. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/beauthenticzone/support --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/beauthenticzone/support

  • 168: Stop Waiting for Friday

    27/02/2018 Duração: 04min

Friday used to be MY day. I couldn’t wait for Friday. Especially if it was a hard week at work. I used to round up my favorite crazy crews and “get down on it.” I had two crews that I rolled with and I had nicknames for them. 1) The A-Team and 2) The Usual Suspects. I’m not joking, these were my people that I rolled with from Laremont School. But as time wore on, I got tired of the same thing giving me the same results. Get up for work (begrudgingly) on Monday, work my ass through Hum Day (Wednesday) and postpone excitement for TGIF (Friday). It was a broken plan. I finally decided to change that in October 2015. It was the best decision I’ve ever made. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/beauthenticzone/support --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/beauthenticzone/support

  • 166: Your Surroundings (Your Friends) Are Important

    25/02/2018 Duração: 04min

Most people hang on to friends that they know are bad for them. Toxic friends. People that aren’t looking to help them become better and aren’t (and will never be) happy for their success. Why do people do this to themselves? I know why - I used to do the same damn thing. It’s because people hold their friends opinions in higher regard than their own opinions of themselves. I was forever seeking approval from my friends. Like I needed to be validated for my purpose in life. Listen to me, get rid of these garbage “friends.” If you need a crash course on how to rid yourself of these fools, listen to the list of Teflon Don Positive Mindset episodes below: Teflon Don Positive Mindset - 032: Who Gives a Shit What Your Friends Think About You Teflon Don Positive Mindset - 081: Do Not Allow Family and Friends to Dictate Your Life Teflon Don Positive Mindset - 090: What Do Your Friends and Family Think About The Word Risk? • 165: Laugh Good, Laugh Often

    24/02/2018 Duração: 04min

I’ve always been silly. It’s in my DNA. I can’t be too serious for too long. It drives me insane. I use these silliness skills to bring joy and happiness to peoples lives. There are so many people that lack energy that are in desperate need of a shot of good energy. Look, be the change. • 164: Being Productive Will Keep You Happy

    23/02/2018 Duração: 04min

Being busy misleads many people to think they’re being productive. Listen, I was THAT guy. I would keep myself busy just doing things and not focusing on productivity. There’s a huge difference between being busy and being productive. Busy = Doing lots of work that has no goal or purpose attached to it. Productive = Doing work TOWARDS a goal and the purpose that’s attached to it. In simpler terms: if you’re a sales person, being busy would be saying that you worked 16 hours today. Being productive would be saying, I made 200 cold calls today. There’s a huge difference and one is going to get you to your goal and the other will only frustrate you and make you feel like you’re on a hamster wheel. Busy work bores the mind. Productive work keeps the mind focused. Don’t be busy. Be productive. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/teflondon/support

  • 163: Don't Recreate the Wheel

    22/02/2018 Duração: 04min

Often times we work against ourselves. We have a great idea and we put all of this energy into creating something that’s never been done before. The funny part is that we invest an incredible amount of energy into creating something new without understanding that it may have previously been created. My rules for a successful product are simple: 1. Find a product that’s uber successful. 2. Copy the format that made it successful. 3. Tweak it to make it your own. Put your own spin to it. Simple. These same rules apply when you’re working to become successful in your industry. My rules for you to become successful in your industry are simple: 1. Find a person who’s uber successful at what they do. 2. Copy their format that made them successful. 3. Tweak it to make it your own. Put your authenticity into it. Simple. Don’t be afraid to allow your qualities to shine through. People often change themselves and who they are for fear of what others might think about them. Don’t allow this to happen to you. Money is important. It is. Unfortunately most people try to act like money isn’t everything. They try to envision a world with no money to only increase the defeatist attitude and self-pity. Money is important. You get up and work for it everyday. You think about it everyday. You’re either working for it for the rest of your life or it’s working for you for the rest of your life. The questions is: Which would you rather? --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/beauthenticzone/support --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/beauthenticzone/support

  • 154: Go for Broke - Go All-In

    13/02/2018 Duração: 04min

We all experience fear when we go all-in. It’s the point of no return. It means we have to make things happen and if we don’t, we have to face the fact that we failed. What’s the worst that could happen? You fail going for what you want? C’mon now, you have one life. ONE. How are you going to live that life? Because if you decide to stay on the sidelines for most of your life, you will be a spectator watching all of the action to only hope and wish it was you.
