Teflon Don Positive Mindset

Being busy misleads many people to think they’re being productive. Listen, I was THAT guy. I would keep myself busy just doing things and not focusing on productivity. There’s a huge difference between being busy and being productive. Busy = Doing lots of work that has no goal or purpose attached to it. Productive = Doing work TOWARDS a goal and the purpose that’s attached to it. In simpler terms: if you’re a sales person, being busy would be saying that you worked 16 hours today. Being productive would be saying, I made 200 cold calls today. There’s a huge difference and one is going to get you to your goal and the other will only frustrate you and make you feel like you’re on a hamster wheel. Busy work bores the mind.
