The Lightning win game 3 in Boston and they dominate the game scoring 2 goals in the first 4 minutes and never looked back. Ondrej Palat scored 2 goals as the line of Brayden Point, Tyler Johnson and Ondrej Palat couldn't be stopped by Boston. We break down Lightning-Bruins Game 3 with Tampa Bay Times columnist Tom Jones who some perceive as rooting for the Bruins because he picked them to win the series. The Lightning play a more inspired game and beat the Bruins 4-2 to even their series at a game a piece as Brayden Point, Ondrej Palat and Tyler Johnson bounce back with a big game. The Bucs trade back in the NFL Draft and still get their man, 347-pound DT Vita Vea from Washington. Vea was 4th on the Bucs board and they are really happy with the pick. Carlos Gomez, who has been struggling, delivers a 2-run walk-off homerun for the Rays as they sweep the Twins for the first time at Tropicana Field. It was quite the celebration and homerun trot as it was his first career walk-off hit. The NFL did the Buccaneers no favors with their opening 3 games of the 2018 schedule at New Orleans and home against Philadelphia and Pittsburgh making an 0-3 start possible, plus linebacker Kendall Beckwith broke his ankle and had surgery so his status for the start of the season is in question. Nikita Kucherov scores two goals and delivered some big hits at the Lightning beat the Devils 3-1 to take a 3-1 series lead in a game that was very physical from the Bolts. The Tampa Bay Lightning have taken a 2-0 series lead as they head to New Jersey for Game 3 and they may be without Ryan Callahan and Dan Girardi who left Game 2 with injuries, and they may face a new goaltender for the Devils. We have missed the NHL Playoffs in Tampa Bay and the Lightning didn't disappoint in Game 1 as they defeated the New Jersey Devils 5-2 in their first playoff game in nearly 2 years. Alex Killorn, Tyler Johnson, Ondrej Palat and Yanni Gourde were fantastic as the Lightning carried play but once again the penalty kill tripped them up leading to goals.
