  • Free Health Care For Families This Weekend

    The CARE Fair is one of Utah's most impactful community events.   The fair provides health services to anyone who may need them.  From dental cleanings to pelvic exams, all is offered free of charge. In partnering with the University of Utah School of Medicine and School of Dentistry, the CARE Fair brings quality health care to the entire community. There are a number of great services for children and families.  Immunizations will be updated for children who need them, and bike helmets will be given out for free. The CARE Fair also gives away child car seats and makes sure they are the right size for your children and that they're installed correctly. Other totally free services provided include  Physical exams, well child exams, dental cleaning, exams, and sealants  Vision and glaucoma screening Hearing screening Diabetes and cholesterol screening Mental health assessments Pelvic exams and Pap tests Breast exams STD testing The event will take place at Horizonte School, 1234 South Main Street in Salt Lake C

  • Olympic Park Ski Jump Becomes A Slip 'n Slide

    The band America is performing at Smith's Ballpark for July 4th!  All tickets are general admission and can be found at slbees.com The Salt Lake Bees have been doing some cool things for July 4th when they don't have home games.  This concert will be great. That's just one of the great activities hosts Taylor Powers and Ethan Millard cover in this July 4th special preview episode.   • Gallivan Plaza Does FREE & Awesome Work Breaks

    You can find all this information at TheGallivanCenter.com Hit up Gallivan Plaza for a FREE Family Fun Day.   Family Fun Day is held one Tuesday every month from 11am- 2pm.  Bring the kids to the plaza for prizes, entertainment, face painting, inflatable games, a petting zoo, and a train.  The two remaining Family Fun Days are July 11 and August 8. The Your Utah hosts, Taylor Powers and Ethan Millard, also talk about a few other Gallivan events that are more for grown ups during the work week. Make sure you hit up the Lunch Bunch Concert Series for a great lunch time escape.  Lunch Bunch Concerts are held (almost) every day from 12pm- 1pm. June 22-25 2017 at Library Square, Utah Arts Festival blends all types of art and performance.  It's very awesome.     This is The Place Heritage Park in Salt Lake City, Utah may have once been a somewhat simple pioneer outdoor museum for field trips, but now, after revamping, it holds up the test of family fun for all. Ride horses, see historical buildings, visit the barber shop, the leather-smith, woodworker and help out with the sheared wool, play with animals and so much more. Ethan was very passionate about This Place.  Another, not so kid friendly activity, is the Leo After Dark. This is a 21+ event on the third Friday of each month at the Leonardo Museum. Every event holds a different theme with correlating exhibits and classes/workshops and activities to partake in! This month's theme is Dreams of the Future, featuring Virtual Reality, Sonar Sculptures, Lab experiments and more.
