Lots of great blokes on the show today…. One being celebrity chef Ben O’Donoghue who’ll be showing Nathan, Nat & Shaun how to make seafood sausage rolls at Crabfest this year! We hope they’re good… Another great bloke – former Australian cricketer Mike Hussey! He’s behind the Angels gala ball being held next week to raise money for pre term babies. Plus he gave his take on Australian cricket and Cameron Bancroft, much to Nathan’s excitement (or not). And the greatest of all blokes – Eminem – was on stage in front of 60-odd thousand people last night. He may be a tad too busy to chat with us but Shaan was there last night and it was EPIC! Except for the random fireworks display after the show ended – the pyro guy had ONE job and he didn’t do it. Shaun’s wife Meegan witnessed a kid ride his bike into the river thanks to a bit of a lapse in concentration. Turns out it happens all the time! Brett was cycling and ran into a stopped car, and Emma saw a photographer step a little too far back off a jetty…. Some yucky travel food stories, off the back of Meghan Markle eating pigeon pie in Morocco (her reaction was priceless). Camel tongue, rice wine and dirty water all feature, and clearly all delicious. Greg Hire dropped by ahead of this week’s semi-final game, and whilst trying to talk about Mitch Norton only proved he can’t speak. We love you anyway Gurgly. The Oscars are done and dusted for another year, and Olivia Colman’s speech will go down in history as an absolute cracker. If you listen to her, you’ll instantly fall in love. Only in the ACT would the Greens be trying to pass a law that could send people for jail for hurting their pets feelings. Turns out people do it all the time – Mary Louise has a daily routine that upsets her cat, and Tanya’s rabbit takes issue with being put in a carrier. Karolina from MKR dropped into the studio to chat about her and teammate Milly’s not-so-great instant restaurant last night, and what it’s like to be on a team with a complete stranger. She’s certainly a whole lotta woman…! Sticky business today as Nathan told the story of a Perth man who managed to glue his bum to a cabinet. Trent called about his mate who glued his bum cheeks together, Marie’s Mum glued her foot into a shoe, and Adam’s son…well, he won’t live down the body part that he glued together. Another sticky situation for a mate of Shaun’s son, who was borrowing his parents car, and when they went outside to look the tyres were flat. The kid was devastated and felt so guilty – until they discovered there was a serial tyre slasher in the neighbourhood! What a sense of relief. Vicki felt so guilty about damaging her partners car she went and got it fixed. Little did she know a cow was to blame…. And we’re stuck on the gorgeous Mel from Married at First Sight! She joined the team in studio for what was a pretty hectic chat involving a LOT of Mel’s unique laughter and a LOT of talk about her lack of sex life. So apparently these days women actually like receiving appliances as gifts…surely not? We discovered that Dysons are a yes, but chopping boards are a no. Chloe called through and told us about the time she thought her boyfriend was presenting her with a Dyson…turns out it was more ring-shaped. Dr Chris Brown’s new show with Julia Morris is Sunday Night Takeaway, and we can’t believe Chris hasn’t collapsed in a heap yet with all the work he’s doing! Fresh out of the jungle he told us about the baby zebra he helped save, putting his hand inside an elephant and also about a super smart honey badger. Yes, they exist. And after 10 years of no one ever getting into it, we all went out to Shaan’s family home to open the safe in his parents walk in wardrobe! The tension was high….would Shaan be rich? Things have got messy with a cheating scandal in the Kardashian family. The guys heard some pretty messy cheating stories, including a love triangle, 2 different brothers, and an absolute corker from Bree involving her boyfriend…and her brother. The Premier dropped by the studio to chat about his time off over the break, 150,000 new jobs, crayfish, and shark drum lines. Of course the entire chat derailed, and by then end the guys were wondering if the big boss really knows them at all…… And Greg Hire came in to explain the Wildcats feelings about Bryce Cotton missing out on MVP and Trevor Gleeson missing out on a coach of the year nomination. Nova’s own Bradley Hill called through from Adelaide whilst he’s on the AFL Player’s Association Indigenous camp – he’s having a blast and is keen to get back playing for the AFLX comp as well. Shaun was outraged when a guy at the pool refused to get out for the kids swim squad training. He just sat there on a pool noodle arguing with the coach! Other examples of adults behaving badly include a woman refusing to move for Vikki’s beach wedding, a park bench stealer, and a choc milk thief. And Donna Hay chatted about her time in the Maldives, and whether or not she got recognised over there. Yesterday Shaun couldn’t believe the $900 price of an injection he was going to have for his hip – he just rolled with it and now he’s scared because he has to ring up and cancel. Price shock has hit plenty of others - Abbie got stitched up in Vegas when she booked a spray tan and it cost her $120! Debbie forked out much more than expected for a butchers beef roast, and Ben’s dental work was quoted at more than fifty grand…he certainly did not go through with it. Michelle Bridges is taking on the dancefloor on the new series of Dancing with the Stars – and look, she’s getting there! She reckons training is pretty gruelling, but surely she’s fit enough to handle a bit of ballroom. And Ellie got kind of laughed at by the valet people at Crown when they gave back her car – because it has an immobiliser. Lily tried to be fancy and eat the nuts on the table at a classy restaurant…they weren’t nuts. And Jackie’s nana doesn’t have quite the elegance for fine dining either, especially when it comes to her false teeth

Sir Curtly Ambrose is having a crack at the new season of Dancing with the Stars, and he’s in it to win it! Plus he reminisced about the days of playing against the top notch Aussie team, and also about being knighted (he’s not the biggest fan of being called Sir as it turns out). Perth Glory are kicking butt at the moment, and star recruit Chris Ikonomidis dropped by to talk about how much he’s enjoying his time at the Glory, and also to explain why he was running fairly late this morning.... Another star cricketer came into the studio today...Mitchell Johnson may have had the girls swooning but he talked a great deal about his toilet habits. They’re still swooning anyway. He’s promoting the Weet-Bix TRYathlon for kids on March 24. And Anthony from Ellenbrook won the trip to the Maldives yesterday - he explained that his rather subdued reaction was due to having had a vasectomy the day before! Happy Valentine’s Day to all the lovers out there! You make us sick. But we love you. Today was all about the love – we even razzed Shaan (the guy who pushes our buttons in the morning), because he watches movies via facetime with his girlfriend and it’s a bit cute. Producer Amy didn’t have a super romantic start to the day –we reckon that’s what tends to happen once you’ve been together for a while. Kristy proved us right, she’s barely a year in and was gifted a bracelet, teddy bears, all the cute stuff. Jarrod is having his first Valentine’s Day dinner in 15 years and he’s nervous… And Greg Hire dropped in to get all loved up – the Wildcats will be in a top 2 spot for the finals if they beat Adelaide tomorrow night! Shaun’s mate found out that the house sitter they organised was having a massive party – before they’d even left the country! Jason called about the time he had to pay for some shoe damage to a house he was looking after, and Aaron’s family found a pool cue somewhere interesting after leaving their house with a neighbours young daughter. Getting a bod just like Thor’s has become that bit easier – the guys caught up with Luke Zocchi, who is Chris Hemsworth’s personal trainer. Not only is he doing extremely well for himself and for Chris’s rig, he’s also a legend of a bloke. And in case you were wondering, his house is NOT as massive as the Hemsworth’s. And Shaan has informed the team that his parents have a safe at their place, that has been unopened since they moved in 10 years ago! Turns out safes are quite common – Ash found five hundred bucks and a bit of a sad note in hers, and Pete called through to offer up his services – which means the safe unlocking at the Subra household will go ahead!  Se

What a weekend of sport for WA! Not only did the Freo AFLW girls get another win on the board, but both the women’s and men’s soccer teams had wins – our mate Daniel Garb from Fox Sports called through to talk about the weekends results, and about the drama surrounding the sacking of Matildas coach Alen Stajcic. Shaun had a birthday over the weekend, and last week he started to get the feeling that there was a bit of a surprise party happening for him….and there wasn’t. Nicola called to tell us she was expecting an engagement ring for her 21st and it never happened. And Chelsea was all ready to walk into the staff meeting for a promotion, the meeting did not turn out quite as she had expected…. And if you’re from Morley, you could end up building spaceships for Richard Branson! That’s what Enrico Palermo has done, he’s the president of the Spaceship Company, working for Virgin Galactic, and he went to Chisholm College. A large bushfire has had homes under threat in Forrestdale this morning, and when it started yesterday a school was evacuated - it was many kindy students first day at school ever! What a way to get started. Couldn’t be as bad as poor old Chris though, she told us about the time she had a wardrobe malfunction on her first day.... And the one. The only. A man fought off a mountain lion when he was out for a run – the guy had to fight for his life! Shaun once had to fight for his life in a ball pit. Callan called through and explained how he fought for his life with a spiderweb, and Dave went head to head with a fish. Lucky Hell swallows swords – and she’s from Perth! Front page of the paper today was the nitro funny car that turned into a massive fireball, and Anthony Begley was the guy inside. He survived to call through and explain what it’s like to be inside a fireball that big. It’s really, really hot. Nathan couldn’t believe that a guy would fly all the way to Atlanta, Georgia to attend the Superbowl…alone. Especially after how average it was! AFL Player’s Association CEO Paul Marsh dropped by to tell Shaun he still has rights as an ex-player – which he was stoked about. Last night on Married at First Sight Elizabeth’s new husband Sam told her he had to leave their honeymoon because his ex’s Mum had passed away…in New Zealand. It all sounded a bit suss. There’s a few stories floating around Perth that involve some not-so-legit-sounding tales, most of which have to do with car accidents that never happened…. Lots of sporting action from Shaun today, Brendon Julian called through with an update on all things Australian cricket (we’re actually winning!), the guys got in touch with Fremantle AFLW coach Trent Cooper after the girls first away win ever, and Steve Butler called through to chat about the Superbowl - but if course things took a dangerous turn, and the safe word may have been used…. Apparently around half of Australians would turn down a pay rise to take on a job that was more fulfilling. The guys aren’t convinced.
