The boys were back again today.. Nat is still sick Newsreader Ellie and her boyfriend Dougie went away to Albany for the weekend and fed baby Joeys.. How wonderful are the activities you do in the early days of dating! Nicola’s hubby whisked her away to Europe after a week of dating and Kate’s partner sucked her in by picking her up in fancy cars..  Pinch and a punch it’s the first day of the month! Well yesterday was anyway…it was April Fool’s Day! Producer Claire did her hubby over without meaning to and Keesha pranked her sister.. let’s just say her beloved pet goldfish is no more..  The debate of the morning kicked off with the boys asking whether it’s acceptable to stand in a car bay spot and reserve it.. the people of Perth had their say. And Steve Butler from the West called through he reckons the new WCE verse isn’t so bad.. And there’s a framed picture of Shaun up on Gumtree selling for twenty bucks! Merrick Watts chatted with the guys about his new podcast series ‘Police Tape’. Throughout the series he interviews retired cops and gets the low down on real cases. He let slip what the first one is about… Former Docker Rhys Palmer woke up in hospital and had no idea what happened 48 hours prior. The guys spoke to Gary who woke up with a crazy knee injury, and poor Tash woke up to doctors telling her something had gone awry during her surgery…. Chris Masten from the West Coast Eagles stopped by ahead of his 200th game this Saturday. He let the guys know some of his best and worst moments of his AFL career so far… And Georgie Gardner from the Today Show spoke with the guys, in breaking news they somehow managed to get her to say the word ‘bum hose’ on air. Our old mate Deano joined the guys for a chat about his new gig on a football show called ‘Up the Guts’ which starts this Friday on Fox Sports. He also let the trio know he misses Perth, but mostly because of his friends and family.. as he was sipping an almond latte from our Melbourne studios (convincing!).  Shauny Mac chipped his tooth while eating his favourite nuts and now he’s really self-conscious.. Brooke woke up with a sty in her eye and Kym got kicked in the face by a horse and looks stunning with a black eye! It’s a sad day in Morley with the second last Blockbuster closing its doors. The guys chatted with the owner Lynn Borzseky. And the Pope has had a busy day.. rejecting people who want to kiss his ring. Nathan got sucked in to helping a lady put her shopping in the back of car but before he knew it she had taken off and didn’t even say thanks! Erin helped out a mate at his café….while he didn’t do much at all. And Tara was only meant to be her sisters Maid of Honour…not her wedding caterer! It was Antonell’s turn for Breakfast Club this week and the Doyle clan definitely put on a spread – her hubby Andy providing his very own Wembley sausage rolls. It was certainly an impressive feast! And the guys chatted with their mate Adam Gilchrist and all things cricket! It looks like David Warner and Steve Smith will be available for selection very soon. Michelle Bridges got the boot from Dancing with the Stars last night and safe to say the guys are DIRTY. She didn’t even get to keep a costume! A delivery driver was seen cycling through the Northbridge tunnel – right in amongst some pretty heavy traffic. Turns out she was just blindly following her GPS. Heather copped some fines for following her GPS when she was overseas, and Michael’s wife has been following a ridiculous route with her GPS for months. Yesterday Jermaine age-shamed us. We were not impressed. Today we heard more stories of age-shaming, like Cara who got age shamed on the dancefloor, and Penny who got age-shamed accidentally at the shops. We’re YOUNG, ok!!! Maggie Dent age shamed herself when she talked her chin hairs. Luckily she’s full of sage advice for parents, including for Adrick who has a new baby on the way and is wondering how to help his 2 year old cope with it all. And Greg Hire is coming along to our Kalgoorlie Sausage Roll launch today – because part proceeds from all sales are going to his charity ‘A Stitch in Time!’ He’s pumped and so are we. Today was BIG! BIG thighs – meaning the big man himself Pav came into the studio to talk about chafing (this is not a joke), but also get serious about mental health in sport, and talk about his thoughts for Freo heading into the 2019 season. BIG coffees with our mate Chris Masten – well not so big, considering the whole group of Coffee Cheaters has pretty much disbanded, Masto has said he’s even keen to have coffee with ‘normal’ people. How lovely. He’s also pumped to get back into footy and he’s sure the Eagles are in for another big year. The BIG wig – WA Police Commissioner Chris Dawson came into the studio for the first time ever! The Police Expo is on this weekend, which involves a whole bunch of cool stuff. Plus his favourite cop movie, using the scenario village, and he even sampled some cop talk for us.  And finally – a BIG mistake. Newsreader Ellie was convinced that the guys had plotted with the Nova staff to all wear stripes to work to psyche her out. The team laughed her off, until people kept arriving to work, in stripes.... A woman in the US was visiting her parents grave and it sunk - and she fell in! Other stories about holes are out there, like Adams childhood hole, and Paul jumping into a gross hole to get a motorbike. Breakfast Club was provided by our Creative ad writer man Garry Dean, and the guys were extremely impressed with his cooking skills (mostly his wife). And sports chats galore! Supercars legend Scott McLaughlin dropped into the studio to talk chicken nuggets, Neroli Meadows called through to calm her nerves before her first night as the new host of The Footy Show, and Steve Butler talked all things Wildcats and AFL. Faceplants! They hurt but they’re epic. A guy faceplanted at a wedding to interrupt the Maid of Honour’s singing – luckily she was terrible. Tahlia worked for an airline and faceplanted successfully on the tarmac, and Cameron’s son faceplanted into a small wall. Ouch. Champion Wildcats coach Trevor Gleeson joined the guys to chat about the Championship win, Greg Hire’s retirement (which he’s cool to talk him out of) and just how sweet it was to win the Grand Final on the road in Melbourne, and show all those haters that they can do it anyway. And he’s a true hero – again. WA Premier Mark McGowan called through after some rumours were abound that he saved a woman who fell and hit her head on the street. He was humble, so the guys proceeded to make him into a superhero, which he of course loved. Laughs all round. The NBL Champion himself Greg Hire actually answered his phone this morning in not the greatest shape after an absolutely amazing win to top off his career at the Wildcats! We are so, so proud of Greg, and the boys for getting up and wining the NBL Championship after all the stuff the critics form over east were saying. Go Cats! James Mathieson is hosting a new show on Foxtel called Thrones 360 – everything you need to know about Game of Thrones, which returns for the final season in April. So basically incest, violence and dragons. Cannot wait! And Shaun did the port to pub swim over the weekend - and things went a bit awry for the first leg of the race. No Shaun today – but don’t worry, we survived. Lovely Irene aka Lynne McGranger called in before she flies over here to be an ambassador for Mandurah Crabfest. She admitted that she actually can’t cook, and Nathan informed her that she’s a social media influencer. Yesterday Sally from Iluka told us about how the funeral home made her Mum’s corpse look like a drag queen – and we felt a bit bad because something inappropriate was super funny! Other inappropriate funny things include Karen’s Dad’s body accidental giving everyone the bird, and Faye laughing at a kinda chubby guy’s name. And Chris Hemsworth has left WA and we are sad that we’re not best friends. But what we did find funny was that when he and his family took a helicopter to Rotto, Matt Damon had to take the ferry. Speaking of friends – Greg Hire didn’t feel like one of ours when he came in to the studio to be berated by Shaun about the Wildcats performance on Sunday. The Grand Final series is tied at one all and the boys need to get up on Friday night – so go Cats! Greg’s jokes weren’t even so bad this week…could it be a good sign? Over in the US a lady was burgled, and the bad guy ate her can of clam chowder soup that she doesn’t like so he kind of did her a favour. Criminals can do favours - Jeremy’s car was stolen, and when the cops found it, it was in a much better state! And Isabelle had problem tenants, but when someone broke in all was fixed very easily… Yesterday it was discovered that Steve Butler was ‘THAT’ person – he sat his giant deckchair right in front of some other concert goers, and he never looked behind him. Hayley was ‘THAT’ person – she may have ruined an entire bars TV system right before a very important broadcast…. Nathan has discovered how to figure out your Royal Title. If ‘Lord Sydney Weet-bix of Nippon Fare’ sounds legit to you, then maybe you need to figure out yours… And a Perth woman has to do a bazillion-point turn every day to get in and out of her driveway – because there’s a tree in the middle of it. The big boss himself – Prime Minister Scott Morrison – dropped into the studio to spruik the money he’s giving to WA, and the deflect pretty much every serious question asked of him. Ahhh, politicians. He managed to get in his favourite Taylor Swift song, and promised us Chris Hemsworth’s number so we can be friends. Plus, if you’re sick of Perth being last in the national weather reports, he’s gonna try fix that too. What couldn’t be fixed today was everyone mouths. You heard right – they were so BURNT from the RIDICUlOUSLY HOT chips that everyone at. They’re not called the worlds hottest chips for nothing. IMAGINE if you made friends with Chris Hemsworth while just hanging out in Carnarvon – that’s where he and Matt Damon are right now! Nathan already has a plan to make it happen. Turns out making friends as an adult is easy too – well, sort of. Alissa couldn’t even tempt her neighbours to be friends with chocolate, but Tom has ended up best mates with his real estate agent. And Jo – well, Jo tried to befriend one of the team over the weekend with no luck at all! And Greg Hire is PUMPED for the Wildcats game tomorrow night – the first of the finals series against Melbourne. He reckons no one over east gives them a chance, and that’s just the way the Wildcats like it. Off the back of the Premiers heroics yesterday, we were still a bit stunned that he just lent his car to a family so they could drive to hospital – they returned it the next day! Simone completely trusted a stranger she met in the USA – they now spend Christmases together. And after Jeff’s car broke down, a stranger completely trusted him with something huge for an entire week! Salesperson Harry was first cab off the rank for Breakfast Club after gorging on bacon savouries and earning his turn– and he provided the goods! He even wore a costume. Well done sir.
