The WIP Morning Team talks about the fact that Notre Dame refused to play in the bowl game. The team was passed on for Miami, and as Joe DeCamara said ‘the voting clearly wasn’t taken seriously. It’s not fair or right’. James Seltzer said that he understands why the team would not play in the bowl game because so many people transfer. Jon Ritchie shared his story in NCAA dealing with transferring in the middle of final exams for a semester. The team then reacts to what Saquon Barkely had to say about the energy in the locker room.

The WIP Morning Team previews tonight’s Eagles game against the Los Angeles Chargers. The Eagles have been struggling with the run game, and with the news that the Eagles are without Jalen Carter, who had a double procedure, Jon Ritchie bets against the Eagles. The team breaks down if they think that Jalen Hurts is going to run tonight. Ritchie said ‘A lot will start with Jalen’. Rhea Hughes brings up the struggles of the Chargers offensive line.

Spike Eskin makes an announcement on the WIP Midday Show. Spike is officially "done with the Embiid thing."

ESP does not think the Eagles will return to the elite level of play they showed last season but he does think they can make their way to the Super Bowl. Eliot calls upon Jalen Hurts to put on his Superman cape and lead the Eagles into victory against the Chargers on Monday. Joe DeCamara adds another win to his Beat the Hammer record.

Hall of Famer Dick Vermeil joins the WIP Morning Show. Vermeil speaks from experience and tells the Team that the Eagles need to play without memory of their recent losses. He is confident the Birds can finish playing better than have so far this season.

The 94 WIP had Jason Kelce on the show yesterday and he compared the 2023 team and 2025 team. He said the biggest issue right now in 2025 is the run game. Jalen Hurts running opens the options up and can put defenses on their heels. Darius Slay was not clear if he would come back and play, even if the Eagles had claimed him on waivers.

Dick Vermeil joins the 94 WIP Morning Show sharing that he believes that there is a combination of things that are the issue. However, he believes the Eagles will beat the Chargers.

He believes the Eagles may not get back to their elite status like last year, but thinks they will make it to the Super Bowl- it'll just be a bumpy ride. He has faith that Jalen Hurts can still step up in big moments and make the plays he needs to. He also believes leaders like Jordan Mailata (the Eagles' 2025 Walter Payton Man of the Year Nominee) are key in times like this. He believes the Chargers are an average team and that if the Eagles can get to the hurt Justin Herbert, they can win the game.

The 94 WIP Morning Show is joined by Dr. Kevin Freedman who offers insight into Jalen Carter, Justin Herbert, Joel Embiid, and Tyson Foerster's injuries.
