Joe thinks that their identity surrounds the amount of young players and those player's development that is and will be this team's defensive identity. The topic of Joel Embiid's injury is also discussed and Jason tries to help the morning team make sense of it.

The morning team wonders: what is the plan with Embiid? If he's not hurt, then why isn't he playing in the first 3 games of the season? What's the plan for this season and Joel Embiid?

Still bewildered by the Embiid saga, the Morning team is trying to unpack why the Sixers went about the start of the season this way. What is the Eagles identity? Coach Sirianni says the Birds are a running team, but there are also idications that explosive plays are their focus. So what is the team's identity?

The Morning team is shocked today with the mystery of Joel Embiid. The Sixers drop their home opener to the Bucks, and surprisingly role the news out that Joel Embiid will miss the first few games. Are you on board with the Eagles? Jon Ritchie is cautiously on board, saying Jalen Hurts can improve. Joe DeCamara is not currently on baord. If the Eagles go into Cincinnati and beat the Bengals, maybe there is more confidence.
