Results from Monday night’s Raw and Ring of Honor’s weekend TV are straight ahead in this update but first… This is the end of the WWE Network as we know it. WWE announcing Monday that NBC Universal’s Peacock streaming service will become the exclusive home of the WWE Network in the United States. WWE says Peacock will launch its version of the network on March 18, and start rolling out 17,000 hours of WWE content - old, new, documentaries and more - along with ALL WWE pay-per-views. The first of the Peacock Era will be Fastlane on March 21. Many of the network’s 1.1 million existing subscribers in the U.S. have a lot of questions. Details are a little slim at the moment. Welcome to another year of everyone’s favorite fantasy/reality booking game: Mayhem Mania! Every year, we bring together fans, wrestlers and other folks and ask them to help us construct the BEST WrestleMania card that’s currently possible. Everyone under a WWE contract is eligible to use, as are those who are within the orbit of WWE’s influence. Every wrestler comes in their current physical, emotional and contractual state. That means anyone out with an injury is NOT eligible to use. (We are ignoring COVID-19 diagnoses because this is supposed to be a fun diversion, not a reminder of the terrible things happening around us.) Over the coming weeks more players will be invited to make changes to our card. If a match survives three consecutive rounds without being altered in any way, it graduates to our SUPERCARD. Results from Impact’s Hard To Kill pay per view are straight ahead in this update but first… (STINGER: WWE) WWE with a major announcement over the weekend - setting the dates and locations of the next THREE WrestleManias. First, this year’s WrestleMania will be a two-night event for the second straight year - on Saturday, April 10 and Sunday, April 11. This year’s Mania was originally scheduled for March 28 at Sofi Stadium in Los Angeles. Instead, it’ll be held at Tampa’s Raymond James Stadium - which was supposed to host last year’s Mania before COVID-19 ruined those plans. There will be live fans in attendance. WWE said it will announce ticket availability and safety protocols in the coming weeks. WWE also announced next year’s WrestleMania will be at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
