  • 322: How to Improve the MOST Important Area of Your Life

    06/05/2020 Duração: 38min

What if making a significant improvement in the MOST important area of your life is not only possible, but you can complete it in the next few weeks? In today’s podcast, you’ll find out how you can improve the most important area of your life. Last week, I invited you and our fellow Miracle Morning Community members to join the “Mission for May” (30-Day Challenge) by choosing the ONE area of your life that you’d most like to improve, and then focus on improving every day, for the next 30 days, by concentrating your Miracle Morning S.A.V.E.R.S. on that one area. Over 1,200 members of our community said “YES!” and are currently participating in the “Mission for May” Challenge, here in the Facebook group. Just because we’re a week into May doesn’t mean it’s too late! In today’s podcast episode, you’ll learn what inspired this 30-day challenge, how to choose the one thing that needs your focus above all else right now, and the four simple steps you can follow to make a transformational change during the month of

  • 321: Living Life in Awe with John O’Leary [BONUS]

    05/05/2020 Duração: 32min

When my friend John O’Leary was nine years old, a horrific accident left him with burns on 100% of his body, and a slim chance of survival. He defied the odds to make a remarkable recovery and has spent his life since on a mission to share the lessons he learned about overcoming adversity. John and I met years ago when we spoke on the same stage, and I can attest that he is one of the most authentic and inspirational communicators that I know. In fact, his message has now reached over 1 million people in 14 countries. When I found out John has a new book coming out today, I invited him to be on the show to talk about it. His new book is titled: In Awe: Rediscover Your Childlike Wonder to Unleash Inspiration, Meaning, and Joy, and shows us how to recapture and harness our childlike qualities in order to become more engaged, successful, and fulfilled, as individuals and as leaders. He’s also donating 100% of his profits and giving some valuable bonuses for anyone who gets his book this week (details here).   Ge

  • 320: Are You Ready to Double Down On Your Self-Care?

    29/04/2020 Duração: 51min

As a society, we don’t know what’s next, and it’s easier than ever to let yourself be ruled by uncertainty. Last week, I talked openly and vulnerably about some of the challenges I’ve been overcoming and how I leveraged my past to transform my present by getting back to practicing the fundamentals of The Miracle Morning (like I did back in 2008). As a continuation of last week’s episode, today I want to share with you a number of actionable insights you can implement immediately to up-level your self-care right now. Today you’ll learn not only why all of us often struggle to make time for self-care, but what you can do right now to double down on your self-care practices (without letting them consume your day) and face your biggest challenges in a meaningful, manageable way.   Get The Full Show Notes To get full access to today's show notes, including audio, transcript, and links to all the resources mentioned, visit HalElrod.com/320 Subscribe, Rate & Review I would love if you could subscribe to the podc

    22/04/2020 Duração: 42min

If you’re struggling in any area of your life, right now, today’s podcast episode can help you. I’m sharing a profound breakthrough with you that I had, recently, and inviting you to apply it to your life - immediately. A week ago, when I was recording this episode, I was struggling. I’m still dealing with the ongoing side effects of chemotherapy, and I’m still trying to work through the resulting anxiety, depression, and cognitive challenges that I’ve discussed openly with you in previous episodes of this podcast. In the past week, I’ve made a radical shift that has taken me from feeling depressed, unmotivated, and overwhelmed to feeling genuinely happy, energized, and in control of myself, and my life. In today’s podcast, I’m sharing the story and the strategy of how I reached this breakthrough, how to return to the tools you already have inside of you to conquer your greatest challenges, and what you can do right now to work through this incredibly trying time in human history.   Get The Full Show Notes To

  • 318: Modifying Your Miracle Morning (for Quarantine) with Chip Franks

    15/04/2020 Duração: 55min

When faced with challenging times, it’s easy to allow our good habits to be broken and for important routines to be disrupted. That is why, as we’re all trying to navigate the uncertainty associated with the pandemic that’s currently taking place, I’ve invited Chief Miracle Worker, Chip Franks, back on the podcast. Today, Chip gives you specific modifications you can make to your Miracle Morning practice to best support you in the midst of whatever challenges you are currently facing. Chip’s strategies have already proven to be very beneficial for thousands of members of our community (when he shared them in this post in The Miracle Morning Community Facebook group), so I think you’re going to get a lot of value out of this episode.   Get The Full Show Notes To get full access to today's show notes, including audio, transcript, and links to all the resources mentioned, visit HalElrod.com/318 Subscribe, Rate & Review I would love if you could subscribe to the podcast and leave an honest rating & review

  • 317: What Should You Focus On Right Now?

    08/04/2020 Duração: 29min

What are you choosing to focus on right now? In this unique moment in time, there’s more competing for our attention than ever before. It’s an unprecedented feeling, and even “How are you doing?” can now feel like a loaded question.  It is human nature to allow what’s outside of us to dictate and determine our inner state. That is why now, more than ever, we have to be intentional about what we choose to think about, act on, and how we invest our time, energy, and attention. In today’s episode, I want to talk about two simple things you can focus on right now:  Focus on becoming the “best” you’ve ever been.  Focus on making your relationships the best they have ever been.  Now, more than ever, we need to be at our best, for ourselves as well as those we love, and those we lead.    Get The Full Show Notes To get full access to today's show notes, including audio, transcript, and links to all the resources mentioned, visit HalElrod.com/317 Subscribe, Rate & Review I would love if you could subscribe to th

  • 316: The Power of Authenticity with JB Glossinger

    01/04/2020 Duração: 44min

What does it mean to be authentic in all aspects of your life – as an entrepreneur, in the corporate world, with our families, and even with ourselves? And how can we use authenticity to make a positive impact in the world? To help me answer this on today’s podcast episode, I’m thrilled to be speaking with JB Glossinger, known by millions as the “Morning Coach.” JB holds a Ph.D in metaphysics, an MBA in business, and he’s impacted millions of people around the world as a motivational speaker, coach, leader of masterminds, and best known as host of the Morning Coach podcast—which has surpassed 40 million downloads I discovered JB’s work back in 2008, as I was conceptualizing the Miracle Morning, but this has been our first opportunity to connect and have a real conversation about being vulnerable, building businesses, and offering real value in people’s lives.   Get The Full Show Notes To get full access to today's show notes, including audio, transcript, and links to all the resources mentioned, visit HalElro

  • 315: The Uncommon Conversations We Need to be Having

    25/03/2020 Duração: 01h54s

Most of us are faced with concerns that we weren’t thinking about two weeks ago, experiencing major shifts in our lifestyles and our businesses, and facing new challenges as parents, entrepreneurs, and leaders. On today’s podcast, Jon Berghoff joins me to discuss the conversations we should be having to find meaning and purpose, how to stop being paralyzed by uncertainty and accelerate your own learning, and how to step up as a leader and model great behavior for others - no matter what you do. Jon is the founder of Xchange – a method that you can use to solve whatever challenges you’re currently facing. Over the past few weeks, he has been working on the front lines – not of medicine, but of group communication and collaboration – to help people make sense of their sudden and unexpected challenges, and to come up with solutions. For the first time ever, today’s episode of the Achieve Your Goals podcast was recorded with a live audience, so that we could demonstrate for you in real time how to engage in the t

  • 314: We're All In This Together: An Empowering Perspective on Coronavirus

    18/03/2020 Duração: 01h09min

The coronavirus pandemic sweeping the world is truly unprecedented in our lifetimes. This is a time in our lives when there is a massive need for leadership - not just from our leaders, but from every human being on the planet. As a species, we’re going through a lot of firsts right now - new circumstances, new challenges, a lot of fear, and more uncertainty than many of us have ever faced. A lot of you are experiencing illness, stress, fear, anxiety, and financial hardship, and many, especially the elderly, are feeling more isolated and alone than ever before. Last week, we talked about how to accept what you can’t control and focus on what you can. Today, we’re continuing that conversation and getting more actionable. This isn’t about logistics, groceries, or where to find toilet paper. It’s about managing your inner world, and finding stronger, more resilient, more conscious versions of ourselves through adversity. To help me through this conversation, I’ve brought Brotha James back to the podcast. In addi

  • 313: How to Get Rid of ALL Your Problems

    11/03/2020 Duração: 49min

We all have problems, but how our problems affect us can differ greatly from one person to another. While one person might feel overwhelmed or even depressed by the problems we’re facing, someone else might actually feel optimistic and motivated, viewing their problems as opportunities for growth.  In the last year, I’ve dealt with depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, and severe sleep deprivation. And while these “problems” have been the most difficult I’ve ever dealt with (and am still dealing with), they have become my greatest opportunity for growth. If we can change and reframe our perceptions, we can have a better quality of life. If we realize that the word “problem” is simply a label we’ve given to situations, and which amplifies our worst feelings - we can use them as a way to better understand ourselves, learn, and, most importantly, work through them. In today’s solo episode, I want to show you how to look at “problems” through a new lens, shift your paradigm, and find not just solut

  • 312: 6 Years of Wisdom In 45 Minutes

    04/03/2020 Duração: 41min

Today’s Episode: “6 Years of Wisdom In 45 Minutes” is something very different. It’s an actual message taken from our Best Year Ever Blueprint (BYEB) Mentors program that we introduced this week. I asked Chip Franks to choose one of his favorite videos from inside the program, and to use the audio for this week’s Achieve Your Goals podcast episode, to give you some added value this week. This particular BYEB Mentors session that he chose features me, and my two dear friends, Jon Vroman and Jon Berghoff, sharing our most valuable lessons learned during the past 6 years of hosting the Best Year Ever Blueprint. And while I’ve been pretty open about my struggles this past year, I’d say this is the most vulnerable I’ve ever been. This session takes you really deep into my lowest point, the reasons why, and more importantly - what you can do now if you’re struggling, too. We also give you universally applicable self-awareness activities that you can immediately implement to improve any area of your life. This is s

  • 310: How to Solve the Biggest Problem Facing Humanity Today with Neale Donald Walsch

    19/02/2020 Duração: 01h01min

I’m beyond excited to share this week’s podcast with you, as I have literally been waiting for over 20 years to talk with today’s guest!  In 1999, I read the book Conversations with God by Neale Donald Walsch for the first time, but it wouldn’t be the last. In fact, you’ll hear today about how that one book has positively impacted my life more than any other.  In Neale’s newest book, The Essential Path: Making the Daring Decision to Be Who You Truly Are, he explores how feelings of alienation have created a world in which it’s always “us against them” - and why it’s time to question our basic assumptions about ourselves and each other, about life and how it works, about God, and what humanity is, in order to transform our world for the better. It is an honor to speak to Neale about the processes and the thinking that have inspired his work, the impact that he’s had on the world, and how we can each begin solving the biggest problem currently facing humanity.    Get The Full Show Notes To get full access to to

  • 309: Make Your Journaling Cosmic with Yanik Silver

    12/02/2020 Duração: 39min

Has Scribing (aka “Journaling”) transformed your life as it has mine? Needless to say, Scribing is a key part of the Miracle Morning S.A.V.E.R.S. and an incredible way to achieve breakthrough insights, solidify your commitments, experience more gratitude, and generate clarity and motivation on a daily basis. Yanik Silver is living proof of this. As someone I’ve admired for over a decade, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on his latest creation: The Cosmic Journal, in which he presents a hand-written, self-illustrated space for you to clarify your purpose, determine your destiny, tap into the invisible forces of the universe (stick with me), and galactic instruction manual to help you re-remember your highest self. Yanik is also the CEO of Maverick1000, a network of top entrepreneurs that assembles for breakthrough retreats, opportunities, and experience that to date has raised over $3 million for people in need by working with icons like Sir Richard Branson, Tony Hawk, Sara Blakely, Chris Blackwell, John Paul D

  • 308: The Power of Listening to Conscious Music with Drew Mcmanus

    05/02/2020 Duração: 32min

What kinds of music do you prefer to listen to? Do you ever consider how that music – and specifically the lyrics – might be impacting your subconscious mind? Personally, I used to listen to music based purely on the sound (see: hip-hop), and although I sang along (mindlessly), I typically didn’t pay much attention to the words I was singing, or the impact they might be having on my subconscious. For example, in high school, I regularly blasted rap music (such as Snoop Doggy Dogg and Dr. Dre) through the speakers of my parents 1979 Toyota family sedan that they let me drive. :^) That was until a few years ago, when I discovered “conscious music.” What is conscious music? The word “conscious,” according to dictionary.com, means to “be aware of one’s own existence, sensations, thoughts, or surroundings.” So, conscious music would be that which enlightens one about the world around them. It is music that causes us to be aware of what’s going on and causes us to really think deepr about ourselves and our lives. C

  • 307: The Most Important Lessons I Learned from Jim Rohn with Kyle Wilson

    29/01/2020 Duração: 35min

Jim Rohn was one of my greatest mentors. He was a master of presenting complex ideas in an extraordinarily simple way, he was funny, and he had an incredible gift as a speaker and presenter. In fact, a single quote of his, “Your level of success will seldom exceed your level of personal development” was what inspired me to create the Miracle Morning. For 18 years, his business partner was Kyle Wilson - the founder of Jim Rohn International and YourSuccess.com. He worked to promote Jim all over the world, built a following of over a million subscribers, published over 100 hours of CDs and DVDs, and then sold everything in 2007 to have more time with his children. Since then, Kyle has become the author of multiple #1 bestsellers and provides coaching and consulting through the Kyle Wilson Inner Circle Mastermind. Today, Kyle joins the podcast to share lessons from his partnership with Jim. You’ll learn how Kyle took Jim from being owed almost half a million dollars to doing over 100 speaking engagements a year

  • 306: An Unconventional Approach to Modern Mindfulness with Cory Allen

    22/01/2020 Duração: 52min

Making mindfulness part of your daily life, especially when you’ve never done it before, can be incredibly difficult. In fact, many beginners struggle to stick with it. They get distracted by their thoughts, think that they’re not good enough at meditation, and ultimately give up before experiencing the life-enhancing benefits that are available to all of us. Cory Allen understands this well. He’s the host of the Astral Hustle podcast and author of Now Is The Way: An Unconventional Approach To Modern Mindfulness. In his book, he explores how to use mindfulness not as a means to chill out for a few minutes in the morning and at night, but a way to rewire and retrain your brain to be conscious and present all day long. Today, Cory joins the podcast to share what he’s learned from his countless conversations with leaders at the forefront of mindfulness, neuroscience, and philosophy. You’ll discover how his book addresses the complexities of modern society, technology, and the internet, none of which existed 50 y

  • 305: Love Yourself Like Your Life Depends On It with Kamal Ravikant

    15/01/2020 Duração: 50min

Few books have made as profound an impact on my life as much as Love Yourself Like Your Life Depends On It, as that one book quite possibly saved my life (literally). You’ll hear why that is today on the podcast, as I had the opportunity to engage in a highly anticipated conversation with the author of one of my all-time favorite books, Kamal Ravikant. Most importantly, you’re about to discover why loving yourself – actively and unconditionally – may be one of the most important things you can do, if not the single most important thing. Few understand this as well as Kamal. After his company in Silicon Valley collapsed and the love of his life left him, he fell into a deep depression. With his ego destroyed and his heart broken, he made a vow to love himself, then set out to do it - and this work changed his life. He shared his journey in a short self-published book, Love Yourself Like Your Life Depends On It. Almost half a million copies later, he joins the podcast to share how to take self-love from an empt

  • 304: You. Are. Perfect (How to Experience the Perfection in Yourself and Life)

    08/01/2020 Duração: 21min

On last week’s podcast, I shared “Why 2019 Was the Worst Year of My Life” (as in by far the most difficult). Being that open and vulnerable was challenging, but your feedback, love, and encouragement was incredible. It’s clear that a lot of us had hard years – and like me, you’re committing to making 2020 your best year ever. For me, this includes seeing and experiencing the perfection of our lives, and the true joy that comes along with seeing the perfection in yourself. This doesn’t mean that you’re without flaws, never do anything wrong, or that you’re infallible. It means that you see the messiness of life not as a cause for concern or pain, but as something you embrace to learn, grow, and expand your vision of perfection. It’s similar to how you might see and love a child – perfectly imperfect as they are constantly learning and evolving. After all, we’re really just children who have gotten older, and still have a lot to learn. :^) On today’s episode, you’ll learn how to work on experiencing your perfec

  • 303: Why 2019 Was My Worst Year (And 3 Steps to Make 2020 Your Best Year)

    01/01/2020 Duração: 31min

Today's episode was tough to record, as it's the most vulnerable I've ever been on the podcast. You'll hear me reveal why 2019 was the most difficult year of my life—by far. I spent most of the year suffering from debilitating anxiety, overwhelming depression, and driven by FEAR. For months, I suffered in silence, wondering what in the hell was wrong with me. I was afraid of being judged, of letting my friends and business partners down, and of never getting my sense of optimism back. Finally, I had to be willing to be vulnerable, to ask for help, and to make major changes in my life to ensure that my choices are guided by my highest values, in 2020 and beyond   Get The Full Show Notes To get full access to today's show notes, including audio, transcript, and links to all the resources mentioned, visit HalElrod.com/303   Subscribe, Rate & Review I would love if you could subscribe to the podcast and leave an honest rating & review.
