Ryan was in charge of the team from 2009 through 2014 and is a popular figure in the fanbase. Rex stoked the flames himself by expressing interest in the job in a radio interview this week. It's a bad idea. Rex will always have a special place in this franchise's history for what he accomplished in his first two seasons, but those fond memories are making fans and media members alike forget the flaws that were exposed in recent years.
