The Bad Humanoids successfully elude capture after fleeing the massacre at the Grand Archives. Nathaniel, as Alan Davenport, discovers an otherworldly link between Nero's Bag of Holding and the Bad Humanoids' apartment. After conversing briefly with the Ghost of Dogshits Past, the gang discovers a whole new problem hidden in the magical pockets of the mysterious bag. A problem of the dead variety. What to do? I also lost that awesome description from last time, wherein it was revealed the Dump Stats universe takes place inside Terry Crews's left pectoral muscle, after he flexed it too hard and turned inward on himself while chopping down a tree for firewood for his family, whose house was too cold during a blizzard and the heat went out. Jimmith the Mage lost his inheritance on a faulty bag of fluffy dust, which enraged the spirit of his grandfather, who began haunting Jimmith. His spirit was released from the tree Terry Crews chopped down. And, where is Billy "Billie Jean" Gene in all this? Is he the one pulling the levers? HEY LOOK AT THAT! I pretty much remembered it. Welcome to Cult City! Why did Donald Trump do so poorly during last night's debate? Is it because he's a total idiot?! Yes. But he was also busy listening to the podcast in a very well-concealed earpiece. It's a new Therp Sesh! It's actually a few weeks old, but the crew has been busy with work, short film projects, 12-hour Dump Stats recording sessions, and more. In this episode... well, I kinda forgot. But the title tells me that it involves dealing with some absolute idiots at Walmart. A guy weighing ALL the bananas?! A family walking five-wide down an aisle at 2AM?! Ooooh snap! Haha, get it! Because football season is here! The preseason is over, Tony Romo is already finished (his career, not just his season,) Brock Osweiler is ready to lead JJ Watt to another season where he goes 4-12 but wins defensive player of the year, and the reigning Super Bowl champion Denver Broncos are starting a 7th round pick over the NFC champion Carolina Panthers to start the season. But do Zack and Mike care? Not that much! Half of this episode isn't really even about football, it's about what it's like living in Kernersville, North Carolina (hint: it's not that great.) But, football is huge and we will still keep up with it and we're batting around ideas to keep ourselves interested in a sport that is full of ethical problems, from brain injuries to domestic violence to an incompetent commissioner to the fact that Dan Orlovsky will probably be replacing Jay Cutler by week five.
