The two also talk about negativity. Zack has been going to therapy and making "exponential strides" as of late and it's getting harder and harder for him to deal with other people's negativity as he strives to stop being so negative himself. Basically what he's saying is to stop driving over the speed limit, stop asking him to move up in line when no one is getting anywhere, and stop caring about people walking slowly through the crosswalk. They also discuss a new idea for films, lead by the sure-to-be-a-hit "Black Inception" starring Denzel Washington. Zack then talks about his new Burton backpack, which replaces his old Adidas backpack he's had for 12+ years and taken all over the world. This episode is all over the place and full of madness. Welcome to a film edition of Cult City Comedy Podcast's show Therp Sesh. This time, Zack and Mike sit down to discuss Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu's film "The Revenant," starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hardy. The director, star, co-star, and the film itself have been nominated for Academy Awards this year, along with numerous other people involved in the making the film. We brought differing opinions of the film to the table. Zack loved the film and really found a lot of meaning in the themes; Mike wasn't entirely sold on the film, discussing his issues with editing and the story. We discuss the tracking shots, the natural light Inarritu insisted upon, if the film had a hero, survival, revenge, the bear fight, the last scene, dream sequences, and whether or not people living during the period in which the film is set could enjoy their natural surroundings.
