More wonky phone calls, morse code, repeating number sequences, and now a voice that claims to be watching the characters. About a day's journey from Consiglio, the group does some scouting in the underground town of Dinfor. All is not well the North Bellasaira, but that's not a total surprise as their exit from the city months before did indeed spark a revolution. One of the party is recognized by the military, and they again have to make a quick escape on the final leg back to the capital city. The investigation in the woods continues and we see some typical high school tensions between the characters. That tension quickly fades as some mysterious clues are discovered. It seems the snooping around has made them possible targets as they all receive an ominous phone call. We kick of season 4 as the party makes their was back to Consiglio via airship. In this episode we see the beginnings of a rejuvenated teamwork effort, even from the most unexpected characters. In between scenes, we get a glimpse of inspirations of certain aspects of the story, and debate on the proper execution of Rock, Paper, Scissors... or is it Scissors, Paper, Rock? The characters are are students at Mont Clark High School in Pine Grove Tennessee, "GO HAWKS". The story kicks off as they learn of the mysterious deaths of two of their classmates. For this Horror Halloween One-Shot, we finally get around to playing a game we have pulled a lot of inspiration from, Fate Accelerated, another game put out by Evil Hat Productions (Monster of the Week). It's the season 3 finale of the campaign, so of course, just as the group reaches some resolutions on the interpersonal conflicts, the bottom drops out as it is revealed the Council had found the Animal Preserve. On the run again, it's unclear if everyone will survive. But whoever makes it out, will be carrying an order to kill once reaching Consiglio. Here's a commentary episode to wrap up this one-shot. We discuss what we liked about the system, and a couple thing that we thought would make it better. In this episode we fast forward about a week as preparations are made to leave the Animal Preserve... also, some tempers need to cool. We'll see if that actually happens, as a shoe that has been waiting to drop since midway through season 2, finally falls and will definitely change things going forward. In true SG-1 fashion, the action climaxes with a showdown at the gate while the group tries to escape. However, the effort seems to be more difficult than expected as one group member seems to be working against them. Comically, the dice rolls are extremely fitting for the type of characters that were doing battle. Sometime the dice write a good story! Enjoy! In this episode, the group react to the betrayal that has been exposed and a heated debate ensues. Was the betrayal necessary to thwart a much more sinister betrayal as one character proposes? We had a lot of fun with this episode, despite the mission and our rolls not going according to plan. An eerily deserted base camp, a disabled DHD, an unexpected acid rain storm, and in true BTT fashion, a plethora of word-play jokes are what the group has to overcome on the first leg of their mission. In this episode we attempted to tackle the mechanics of a "Convince Encounter". Our horrible roles didn't allow things to go as smoothly as intended, although they made it highly entertaining as the group escapes a diplomatic crisis. Then, this group of newbies  also have to escape a crisis in the Gate Room, and end off-world  without a full mission briefing. What could go wrong?
