Every now and again when we are having a problem, needing an answer we need to just stop, be and listen, and before we know it the answers appears and for me that is a chat to the Universe!

Sometimes we really need to take responsibility and ask ourselves what it says about our society when this is a top rating show!!

It isn't easy doing a new relationship at our age and with all we have going on... you know, all that baggage people speak of? So, it is important we celebrate when it is going well and the work is being done!

When we lose somebody we never lose our memories, we never stop being who we are because they were in our life and we never stop missing, but we do move on. On this that would have been my 23rd wedding anniversary I share my reflections, I do my pain and I celebrate my joy.

little things are big things! So often in our service we forget to focus on the little things and we forget to teach our staff members why the little things matter... how we do the little things will impact our service and also our success on a big way!

Thomas presents his 18th Speech. A big milestone has been reached, so I share some of my reflections and Thomas shares his speech and now I would like to share it with you. 

a 3 day horse riding adventure gave our souls a bigger workout than our butts and we got all kinds of life lessons, wrapped up in laughter and fun along the way.

I totally lose focus at the beginning of this podcast and I have kept the moment there... because it really to introduce my segment perfectly which is all about focus... focussing and noticing the opportunities that show up by my name be packaged and dressed as we expected.

I just wanted some water at the airport, but I got a whole lot more than that! Water with attitude on the side... never underestimate the ability your energy has on attracting the good and bad, what flows from us flows to us. 

Being a merchant of wow in this 'experience economy'. Great lessons from my encounter with Fuel Cafe in South Brisbane. It really is the 'experience economy' so let's make sure we are focussing on the experience and not just the product we are selling. 

My son Thomas who is 'Living with Autism' finished school last year, I was asked to say a speech at his 'Graduation'... this is a celebration of what being inclusive really looks like because it is a easy to talk about being inclusive but what does it really mean?  

We keep hearing it, everybody keeps saying everybody should be more authentic, but what does it really look like to move through life being authentic and honest? One of the most common feedback I hear is, 'Julie, you are just so real', So this is my take on this.

Happy New Year... I know it is February already, so has it started as you hoped, what are your expectations for this year? Well, this is what I predict and I know for sure. ;)

Feeling for my fellow humans... Empathy for everybody going through some big challenges... especially my friends in Townsville right now! She gets a little emotional!
