Rich has been a Boston comedian since 1987 and he has also been on DR. Katz on Comedy Central. He teaches comedy and is well respected by everyone!This is what I wrote about him after seeing him at this years Boston Comedy Festival. When Comedian Rich Gustus a Needham MA native competes at this years Boston Comedy Festival he is competing with more then the other 96 comedians for $10,000 and a chance a bit of fame. Rich is competing with MS and he is using courage and a great sense of humor he has what it takes. On Monday Rich moved onto the Semi finals of the prestigious Boston Comedy Festival he is one set away from a chance at the Festival Finale and a chance to prove he is not just a guy with MS who happens to do comedy he is a comedian who happens to have MS.

Andy Kindler is known in comedy circles as a troublemaker. Originally from New York, and now complaining from California, he annoys people all over the world. Suzi Berlin and I interview Dana Gould about starting out in Boston, the beginning of alternative comedy and of course the Simpsons. Dana was amazing and really made the Boston Comedy Festival so proud that he is out Comedian Of the year. About Dana Gould: Raised in Hopedale, Massachusetts, Dana began performing comedy onstage at age 17. After high school, he studied communications and theatre at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, but after a year moved to San Francisco to pursue a career in comedy. It was there he, along with fellow comedian Alex Reid, founded the San Francisco Comedy Condo in 1986. Gould wrote and performed on The Ben Stiller Show; one such sketch features Gould as Otto, Cupid’s twisted brother, whose arrows convince a young man to fall madly in love with an elderly woman. Another series of sketches features a heavily disguised Gould as Wilford Brimley advertising “Grady’s Oats” (a parody of Brimley’s Quaker Oats advertisements).
