The first-ever Great Balls of Fire PPV event is in the books, and man was it a scorcher! The intensity was high and it gave us some great matches. Other thoughts this week: quoting songs doesn't require a bibliography, Steve thinks Slater is set for a push, Joe better get his due, who does Kurt Angle LOOOOOOOVE, and SEXY FASHION RANGERS.

We always knew webcomics were rad and deserve attention, but a spot in the Library of Congress? What wonderful news! We've also got some wonderful webcomics like Fantasma, Off White, and Genji Cat.

Vacation's over and it's time to talk about a LOT of wrestling! Money in the Bank came and went, Carmella stole the briefcase (twice), and that loveable bearded maniac made his return. Things are going pretty well, so let's talk about our hopes and fears for the first-ever Great Balls of Fire PPV event!

If someone doesn't know what popping and locking is, how do you show them? Steve wants to know. If you play video games around your kids, how do you hide your competitive ugliness? Jason wants to know. And everyone wants to know the best creative curses to utilize when the children are around.

Jason still loves the Fashion Files, but has no time for Facetime in wrestling matches and thought Raw was a rerun this week. Steve dug Okada vs. Omega, loves that Lucha Underground is back, and stays hyped about the return of the Hype Bros. Together, they run down the Money in the Bank card, including two MitB Ladder Matches!

Steve assumes any lady wearing matching underwear is up to something, so Jason helps him crank that up to 11. Also, have you really given the Dan Aykroyd getting his weiner touched by a ghost scene in Ghostbusters enough thought? The guys think not and offer their opinions and expertise.

No matter what you thought about the endings of Extreme Rules, it's behind us and we move on. This week, we talk about how awesome Samoa Joe was with Paul Heyman, how Dean Ambrose loves to hide (and we love him for it), the continuing Cassening, the Women's Money in the Bank briefcase, the continued excellence of the Fashion Files (telepathy and romper edition), and the no-go for Mojo.

Steve has been on the West Coast for all of a couple months and he thinks the East Coast needs to CHILL OUT. The Midwest simply says, "meh." Also, the guys talk about why you want a strict dress code when it comes to your accountant. Finally, Jason is trying to eat healthier. He thinks this means he should eat more cheese. Steve tells him why that's dumb.

For the second week of our look at the nominees for the Eisners, the guys check out the five comics nominated for Best Digital Comic. There's something old (previously featured), something new, and something that can only be described as fake news that Steve is spreading about one of the four-peat nominees.

Shane made the first Women's Money in the Bank match in history! Alexa Bliss and Bayley had one of the worst segments in Raw's history! Orton will beat Mahal because of history! Is Aries poised to finally win because of history? And for the first time in the history of Extreme Rules, a historic Fatal 5-Way match will determine the number one contender for Brock Lesnar's Universal Championship, which has gone missing for the first time in WWE's history! It should be a memorable one, if not historic.

Do you keep haunted stuffed elephants under your stairs? Is your co-worker secretly (or openly) a huge beanie enthusiast? Is Steve angry at Jason for liking scarves so much? The answer to these questions and more is up for you to come up with, because Today, I Learned Nothing.

Unfortunately for you, Jason is a web designer in his day job and so he has some opinions on the recent redesign Adam Huber applied to Bug Martini. Also, The Eisners are once again nearly upon us, so the guys take a look at the nominees for Best Webcomic: Bird Boy, Deja Brew, Jaeger, The Middle Age, and On Beauty.

We refused to hinder the Jinder and now we're all bit parts in his Punjabi celebration! We also got one of the best matches of the year from two guys who exist on the fringes of the WWE Universe, but who stole the show nonetheless. Also of note this week: Gargano and Ciampa are the MVPs of the week, KO on Talking Smack was brilliant, Pete Dunne needs to learn how to carry a championship belt, someone gave Breezango guns, and why Nak ain't strong style on the mic. Keep your wad and enjoy the show!

Jason hates his body, so you get his review of Taco Bell's Naked Chicken Chips as well as McDonald's Signature Crafted Recipes. Meanwhile, Steve thinks he found a brothel and is ready to explain the intricacies of erotic massage to his co-host. Finally, comic shops are known for a wide array of varietals in flatulence. But what do you do when the comic shop owner is the most flatulent one of all?

We all know how Steve feels about the sultry soul of Adele, so let's relax and listen to some tunes on the old glass harmonica like we used to back in the day. Also, Tapas made a lot of people angry and confused last week with their TOS changes, so the guys give their two cents on that topic. Finally, Steve brings BFGFS to the table and Jason marvels at its cuteness while wondering if he can take another cute journal comic.

Ever hear of a penguin who falls in love with a human woman? How about a cartoon representation of one? Also, bridges are terrifying to some, but traumatizing to all who have gotten their heads stuck in one. Finally, Jason's robotic childhood was robbed of many seminal, heart-wrenching moments. Let's make him relive them now!

After Strowman's injury, Raw rebuilt with a great Balor/Reigns match, Goldust finally having enough of R-Truth's schtick, and the promise of a new number one contender for The Beast Incarnate in the near future. Meanwhile, SmackDown is ready for their Backlash, which means Nakamura will be making his in-ring debut, Breezango might finally capture gold that isn't already on their fabulous outfits, and Tamina Snuka will almost certainly get out of having to wrestle. All that, plus a great TakeOver card to look forward to and a wonderful UK special to look back on!
