Strange Highways

This week Terry and Paul make sure they are up to date on their calcium supplements when they meet Mr. Salvadore Ross, a man who believes the world is against him and that he is owed power and position. This is only amplified when he finds out that he has the ability to make any deal come to pass...

This week Terry and Paul lie in glass boxes and listen to the thoughts of Commander Douglas Stansfield, an astronaut in suspend animation and on a 40 year round trip through outer space. Though his body is far away from Earth, his heart is firmly anchored there with thoughts of a budding romance that started at the exact wrong time...

This week Terry and Paul barely get out of the way of Mr. Oliver Pope, a distracted man who just struck a paperboy with his car. Oliver believes he got away with his hit and run however his car has other ideas...

This week Terry and Paul get ready to go to a picnic when they meet Ms. Barbara "Bunny" Blake, a film star that has come back to her hometown because a ring told her to do so... 

This week Terry and Paul awkwardly sit unnoticed in the living room of the Kirk household, listening to Mr. Sam Forstmann tinker with his grandfather clock upstairs. Sam is obsessed with making sure that the clock never stops ticking because he believes when it winds down, so will he... 

This week Terry and Paul end up at terrible dance party in a very cool looking apartment and meet Harmon and Flora Gordon, a May December romance that has turned sour because Harmon just doesn't have the energy anymore to keep up with Flora. Harmon will do anything for her and just wants to be young again...

This week Terry and Paul end up between the Bighorn and Little Bighorn rivers and meet three US army soldiers operating a tank as part of a war game. A strange wind blows and suddenly the men find themselves following the same fateful trail General Custer did some 80 years earlier...

This week Terry and Paul get filled with holiday cheer and terror as they dig into the Black Mirror episode 'White Christmas.' Two men are isolated in a cabin on Christmas, Matt and Joe. Matt tries to engage Joe in some light conversation about what happened in their lives to bring to this point... Have a good holiday and a happy birthday to Mr. Rod Serling! 

This week Terry and Paul are looking for Sepplas when they come across a crashed rocket ship and meet its single passenger, Colonel Cook. His ship is beyond repair and help isn't coming.  He is not alone however, as he find strange shapes drawn in the dirt outside... 

This week Terry and Paul go to get some hot chocolate served in some fine bone china and meet Simon and Barbara Polk. He is a very abusive aging scientist and she is his long suffering niece/maid. Barbara lives for the day Uncle Simon will die, but she is not aware of what will wake up in the basement when that happens...

This week Terry and Paul hitch a ride in a car pulled by a horse and head into a small unnamed town that is 10 years post a nuclear bomb, in the far off year of 1974. There they meet Goldsmith, a stoic guardian of the townspeople, who guides their survival based upon messages that he gets from the unseen Old Man in the Cave...

This week Terry and Paul get angerly glared at by Mr. Eric Streator, a man who projects his guilt of not being able to have children of his own by taking it out on his stepdaughter. Things begin to change when she brings home Talky Tina, a doll that may or may not be threatening Eric...  

This week Terry and Paul bet on the wrong horse and end up meeting Mr. Michael Grady, a disgraced jockey that doesn't want to admit his part in his fall from grace. He would keep believing this lie if it wasn't for the voice in his head, and a familiar face in the mirror, saying otherwise... 

This week Terry and Paul stop for some flattened hotdogs and meet Mr. Patrick McNulty, a man who thinks he has big ideas but the world knows he doesn't. He believes his luck is about to change when he finds a stopwatch that can actually halt time...

This week Terry and Paul are joined by Steve from Invasion of the Podcast to take a slight Halloween detour and talk about Tales from the Darkside: The Movie. This week Terry and Paul board a plane with special guest Richard as we meet Mr. Bob Wilson, a man who suffered a mental breakdown six months ago on a flight. He believes he is feeling much now better until he sees something, or someone, out on the wing... 

This week Terry and Paul awkwardly make their way off of a bus and meet Steel Kelly, a former boxer that travels the country with his robot fighter, the Battling Maxo. Just as Maxo is about to enter the ring, he suffers a catastrophic failure forcing Steel to make a life or death decision... 

This week Terry and Paul kick of the 5th and last season of the original Twilight Zone with 'In Praise of Pip.' They meet Mr. Max Phillips, a cynical bookie that doesn't take life too seriously except the relationship with his enlisted son, Pip. When he finds out that Pip is wounded from an ambush and may not live, Max prays to god that he may see his son one more time... 

This week Terry and Paul go zooming through a house with no furniture and dare to enter the short lived early 80's anthology series Darkroom. This episode has two stories of varying sizes. First, A Quiet Funeral is story of greed, revenge, and weirdly specific newspapers. Second, Make Up, is a story of a down on his luck guy trying to make some quick cash from a questionable bar owner. Things take a turn when a make up case from a long ago film star shows up... 

This week Terry and Paul take a detour into Amazing Stories. They climb aboard a WWII bomber that has went on 20 plus missions without a scratch. That all changes when a dogfight takes a dire turn...
